The realism is real
Really impressed with this for the money and my just-turned 5yr old daughter seems to love it.Assembly is straight forward enough but as in real life, if little ones don't do things in the right order, they'll have to pull things off and start again or find the frustration of "argh, this is in the way!". The "spark plugs" require a different tool to the bolts, resulting in the inevitable "Grrr, where's the screwdriver!" 😂Sound effects are decent too. None of the usual, tinny, compressed to hell and back sounds that get copied around most toys these days. The pink "Porsche" actually makes flat 6 noises!The remote alarm fob is a nice touch, as is the onboard tool storage and build quality is quite decent.The only way to improve this would be to add a check engine light that randomly came on and required pulling the engine apart to fix it, otherwise I'm not sure how much incentive she'll have to pull it apart again. That said she regularly makes fake food in her fake kitchen so I'm sure she can pretend the engine light is on 😂£35 well spent.

I bought this for my grandson who is not 3yrs yet, but he is car mad. He has really enjoyed this toy as does his sister who is a year older. This version is the best value for money on Amazon there are a few different vehicles all more expensive. This toy has a lot going on lights, sounds and lots of bits to take off and put back. The toy seems generally robust but time will tell at the hands of a small child. I would recommend and delivery was fast. it was safely packaged for transit.Btw my daughter said it does not appear to have an off switch😂
