A really nice wool hat! I was pleased by the thoughtful packaging, all recyclable, and it's extra good to see the Oeko-tex tag. Thin, but long/tall, I have it doubled over twice like a watch cap.

I like this hat because of the lightweight yet warm and super comfy marino wool, and the colour is very pretty. I often carry it in my purse in case my head gets cold. It adds hardly in bulk. However you can tell where the manufacturers cut corners, literally. This hat is not knit in the round. Perhaps that is asking too much considering the fine, tight weave is almost like a t-shirt material (but a bit thicker than that, and warmer of course because it is merino wool). The seams where it comes together at the top tend to stand out like pointy ridges and say "men's hat". This doesn't bother me overly much but I had to take a star off for cheap construction.

I love this hat so much I quickly ordered a second one in orange! It’s so light weight that it doesn’t flatten my hair, doesn’t make me sweaty and yet somehow keeps my ears and head warm! Love it!

Purchased one for myself to sleep in a tent during camping trips for when it gets cold at night and through the morning. Material feels very soft and comfortable. No itching of any sort. After giving it some a test trip, purchased another one for my wife. She loved it as well.

August 2023. Some reviewers claim they are not 100% Wool. The labels on the ones I received indicate 100% Superfine Merino wool.I use similar light Merino beanies as a baselayer under my Motorcycle helmet even in hot summer days. They absorbs the sweat and the helmet ventilation provides a fresh feel on the head when the beanies are humid even during torrid temperatures.I took one star out because of the surprisingly thick seams/stitching for such a light beanie.Unlike other light beanies, overall these use a relatively thick material so they might be too large if your helmet is already tight. But the main complain is the seams on top of the head that are surprisingly thick. I was afraid they would create uncomfortable pressure points on my head. But they don't. Once again it might be a problem if if your helmet is already tight.
