Great for aquaponic gardening
These are great for an aquaponic garden not great for topping plants. I prefer the small 2mm size instead.

Perfect pebbles, exactly what I was looking for.
Product was exactly as described. I use them in my hydroponic planting and as top mulch to keep light off my soil. I was very happy with the big bunch of clay balls I got.

Allows water to penetrate
I use this product as a permanent mulch in large exterior planters. Works fine, although would prefer a larger diameter so it stays on top better.

Great medium for hydroponic garden
Great medium for hydroponic garden, inexpensive, easy to use, environmentally safe as apposed to perlite, might cost more but are we not trying to be environmentally friendly?!

Pretty basic lecca
This is not a fine clay Lecca. It is coarse and has pits and cracks. That is good for plants, they can get roots in easily. But it looks bad in a vase. If you were going to see it in a glass container, I would maybe look for a higher quality clay pebble. I mix season with the soil mix. I use to add volume and more aeration. My plants seem to love them!But this was kind of on the higher price. I won’t purchase from the seller again. Keep looking there are cheaper ones out there.
