Q: Can i use on a plastic rv shower pan?

I suspect it would work on plastic. The product has very good adhesion quality.

Q: I was thinking about adding red flake to it is that possible or do you guys know?

Most likely the flakes would get coated and not show. The textured version has black granduals in it and they don't show black.

Q: Is this product fire resistant or retardant? Are their additives that would make it so?

It is Fire Resistant - ASTM E-162: 01 Flame Spread, ASTM E662: 06 Smoke generation, there is a product called CEASEFIRE FIRE RETARDANT DURABAK ADDITIVE which you can find online that significantly increases it's fire resistance, but it also makes the finsh white and cloudy

Q: Can the finished surface be painted?

Yes, Durabak is a polyurethane, so it can be over-coated with other urethane coatings. However, you do lose some of the protective value of the Durabak, including it's scratch resistance, flexibility, etc, when you over-coat it with another product.
