CirculonStainless Steel Whistling Tea kettle/Teapot With Flip-Up Spout, 2.3 Quart - Silver

I like this kettle. Boils 32-ounce water in 4:45 seconds which is 30 seconds longer than the kettle that was replaced. My last kettle was constructed with two pieces and started to leak after 1.5 years. This kettle is one piece so cannot ever leak. Very shiny and easy to clean. I wish the whistle would raise higher making it easier to load water. It takes two hands to pour the water out. One to hold the handle and one to open the whistle. Wish the handle was thicker. Overall just because it is one piece and heats quickly is the reason to order this kettle. Last year I ordered expensive one-piece kettles but they took way too long to boil water.

I love the design of this teakettle but after boiling water once I noticed dark corrosion marks on the inside. They don’t come off with scrubbing and seem to be part of the steel. I didn’t look inside the kettle before using it so it may have arrived like that. Given the teakettle is manufactured in China, I’m worried the stainless steel is inferior and could leach contaminants of some kind. We recently bought an induction stove and the first teakettle I bought (different brand) was enameled inside and out and after several weeks the interior enamel started flacking off into tiny shards. Had high hopes for an all stainless one. Very disappointed.

would not recommend. Due to rust on the interior when first delivered I am not confident the whistling kettle will remain rust free during continued use.

Product made in China, despite what listing says. I exchanged this for a Chantal that was less expensive and not made in China.

can't imagine anyone could design a worse kettle. can't remove the top with the spout open,can't fill the kettle through the spout, kettle does a dance on the cooktop as it starts to get warm.

Kettle came with a couple minor scratches inside the pot. Rusted after the 1st use. Will be returned

Product description for the Ciculon Stainless Steel Tea Kettle states that the "country of origin" is Switzerland. Seller/Manufacturer responded to my question asking if this was true by indicating that "Circulon® products are manufactured in our Meyer-affiliated factories throughout Southeast Asia, mainly in Thailand and China." Amazon's link for "Report Incorrect Product Information" on this listing does not work, on multiple browsers (i.e. so it's on Amazon's side of things). Seller needs to update their listing to reflect the answer I rec'd from seller as to country of origin (manufacture). Very disappointed in Circulon!
