KEEN Kids' Knotch Peak Alternate Closure Lightweight Durable Sneaker

I love Keen!! When I saw these, I knew they'd be quality so I got them for my 4 year old. She is obsessed with purple right now, so they were perfect! The toe box is nice and wide, which is great for toddler+ feet! They are a little difficult to get on (tight) but once the foot is in, there wasn't any issue with things being too tight. The shoes are just really sturdy, really stiff as most Keens are! I love the front toe bumper, my daughter is HARD on shoes, and I really think these are going to hold up long term. I tried two different sizes and they were true to her size, I kept the bigger ones for when she sizes up, that's how much I loved them!

UPDATE: I still love these shoes because they fit my daughter’s feet so well BUT! After wearing these shoes for only a few weeks the fabric on the top of the shoes is already cracking and peeling off. It’s hard to tell unless you’re looking up close, but it will definitely be noticeable as the peeling progresses. I just would have thought that with the quality (and price) of Keen they would’ve held their aesthetic a bit longer than this. Since it doesn’t affect the function or comfort of the shoe, which is my main priority, I didn’t remove any stars.Both me and my 6yo daughter absolutely love these shoes!!! The wide toe box is perfect for her growing feet and her toes have room to breathe and spread out. I particularly love the rubber toe protector, as she's always scuffing her toes no matter what shoes she wears (pretty sure that's a normal kid thing). They are super easy to slip on and off even if they happen to get wet. The colors are very pretty and bright but not in-your-face level bright plus these shoes are very easy to clean. You honestly wouldn't even know they're Keen's if they didn't have the classic Keen toe protector. Every time I try to get her to wear different shoes she gets upset, as these are her absolutely favorite!

My review for this general model of keen footwear for little boys is 3 years late. I first introduced my son to this shoe in peach and then blue when he was about 3. He loved them and I have continued to purchase them for him.Got him this and a blue one and he seems happy with them....he is never excitable about shoes and clothes so seeming happy is equivalent to elated.I may get him a similar pair when he outgrows these.They are cute, durable, have the foot guard which is excellent for boys and girls who love running around a lot.Keep it up KEEN.

I bought these because my daughter was tearing through tennis shoes by New balance and Skechers. These are built to last, just wish they were a little cuter like a regular tennis shoe. For some reason to me, maybe it's the sole, they just scream "hiking shoe"

I can’t say how much I love these for my kiddo. They fit great, they look great, they’re durable, and he can do it “all by himself”! 😂 We’re a Keen family.

Only had the shoes for one use and already they are not wearing well and looking damaged after one outing. Will not be making a future purchase.

Shoe fit well. They are easy for my kiddo with a limb difference (only one hand) to get on. But! He has a hole through the toe on the right shoe and one almost through the shoe on the left. Seems like Keens should last longer than 5 months! I guess it’s time to try yet another brand. I can’t say the were really worth the money since they didn’t even last 6 months. And, it’s been winter (very snowy and cold) here so he didn’t even wear these outside! Only at school during the 7 hours he was there. Really poor quality compared to how Keen’s used to be.

Gorgeous, low profile shoes that are obviously well-made. I love the Velcro as opposed to waiting around in the mornings before school for my 8 year old to tie shoes properly. They’re everything I had hoped for.
