The only downside to this seatpost is that the elastomers are not available anywhere. Other than that, the build quality of the Satori Beatbox is good. At 6' and 205 pounds, I feel like the elastomer that comes with it is doing its job and makes a huge difference while riding my hard tail MTB on the trail. I have a herniated disc, and for me it is a must to have a suspension post combined with a comfortable saddle. A couple of pointers for those that have purchased the Beatbox or are on the fence. Open the link, remove the elastomer and apply a light coat of dielectric grease (DC4 for my aviation Bubba's) to the mating surfaces. Also apply some silicone lubricant to the link pins. This will take care of any squeaks. Make sure to add BLUE Locktite to the hold down pin screw to keep it from coming loose. Every couple hundred miles, repeat the process but FLIP THE ELASTOMER so that it compresses on the opposite side. This should help increase the lifespan of the rubber. I just purchased another Beatbox for my road bike, now both of my bikes have suspension posts for half the price of a Cane Creek eeSilk of Thudbuster.

The unit comes with only the black elastomer. The others are purchased separately. However, there is no place to purchase them. They are not available on Sartori web site.Since I will need to cut the post to make it fit in my tube I won't be able to return it if the black elastomer does not work for me (since I cannot find the other sizes).
