This is definitely a premier dehumidifier for smaller spaces. Been using it for about 5 months, and have had no problems or malfunctions at all.First off, mobility. It is very light and easy to pickup with the built-in handles. Once in the chosen destination, it can be pushed and spun around with ease since it has rotatable wheels.Second, noise. It is definitely quieter than my previous, larger dehumidifier, but it's not completely silent and you shouldn't expect it to be. If it sits in your basement near a room with a furnace or central air unit, one of those would likely be considerably louder and drown out the noise from this dehumidifier. The fan speed can bet set to high or low, and the high is noticeably louder, so I always keep it low.Third, panel control. Lots of settings to optimally adapt to your environment. The most useful of course is the humidity setting. I prefer to keep mine lower around the 30-40 level, which will result in more water being collected and hence more trips to empty the tank (unless you use the hose to automatically drain, which I don't), but it's worth it to keep the humidity low in the house.The only negative aspect of this dehumidifier is the position of the water tank itself. It is oddly placed in the back of the unit. So if you are looking at or adjusting the settings on the control panel and then need to empty the tank, you will have to rotate the unit, so the back will be facing you. Since I rarely adjust settings, I just keep the unit in that backwards position for ease.Bottom line is that this dehumidifier performs exceptionally well, is easy to maintain and use, and is affordably priced. The positives far outweigh the negatives, so I definitely recommend this unit and would strongly consider purchasing Kesnos products in the future.

I really like this humidifier. It’s easy to operate, quiet, and does a great job on a big room. The only slight issue I have with it is that the drainage hose is too short and I have had to order a longer one. This does not detract from the great product but it would have got 5 stars had it had a decent hose.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Kesnos model YDA-120 (120 pint; 6,000 sq. Ft) dehumidifier. I am using this unit in my basement and am very pleased with how quickly it lowered the humidity and the amount of water it generated using the lowest 30% humidity setting. Some of the features that I appreciate include the handle on the top of the unit and the roller wheels making it easier to maneuver, easy to remove filter frame and inside drying function/timer on the control panel. The unit runs quietly, only a bit noisy when fan is set to high. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance and price.

The media could not be loaded. I like the capacity of the water tank and how powerful the fan is. The handle makes it easy to transport and wheels are smooth for rolling. The internal drying function is useful as I’ve had prior dehumidifiers build up mold. I also like that the magnet is exposed which makes replacing it down the line simple.It is a heavy machine and quite loud though, so I wouldn’t recommend placing it in a bedroom. I also wish the drainage hose was longer.

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace one (from a different manufacturer) that wasn’t equipped to handle the size of my basement. This unit caught my attention because of the square footage it was prepared to handle AND it had a pump that will have the moisture exit and go up a tube. THAT was the main reason I purchased this particular model.In the short time that I’ve been using the dehumidifier, I’ve been very satisfied with its performance. It’s very quiet and removes the moisture from my basement which is large and needs a continuously-running dehumidifier… which this model does. I only had to set the setting on it once through the easily marked and lit buttons, and then it began working as I expected it to.If you have a large space to dehumidify, I would recommend this model for you, especially if the pump feature is something that would benefit you. I don’t go down in my basement everyday so it wouldn’t benefit me to just let it run and fill up the removable water tank as I’d need to empty it daily. And the regular drain hose isn’t practical for me either so the pump feature works for me.I forgot to mention that it’s on wheel and is easy to move around, using the built-in handle which also makes it easy to handle in case rolling it is not the best way to move the unit.One more thing: I needed to contact Kesnos Customer Support about a question I had. They promptly responded to me, and I appreciate that in a company.Hopefully, if you are in the market for a dehumidifier and have a similar situation like me, you will consider the Kesnos Energy Star Dehumidifier.

I bought this machine earlier this year, and it worked amazingly. I had an issue with it, contacted customer service and they immediately responded, sent me a return label, then a new machine. The unit is very quiet, so quiet it doesn't seem like it is working, but it is, you can watch the water running down the clear drain line and see the humidity lowering. Thanks Evelyn.

I purchased this unit in June 2022 with a 2-year warranty. I had a problem with the compressor in May 2024 and Kesnos, as a responsible supplier agreed to replace the unit free of charge.That is what I call excellent customer service!

This machine working but it makes sound. The whistling come after few minutes/hours of work. The sound is so much loud that we may frightened after wake-up. This may due to air flow impact on grills or due to some other reasons. The manufacturer may not tested this device as per universal conditions.

When we tried to contract the seller -they were gone from Amazon. What come back do we have. this mis going on over 3 months now.,

There is no doubt that this machine is well capable of moving moisture from the air. At high fan setting it is quick to bring room humidity down to a reasonable level. At low fan speed the noise doesn't bother me, even watching television. At night setting the timer and leaving fan speed at high has been very helpful in keeping condensation off my windows and glass door. Customer service have also been very helpful and efficient with queries regarding the warranty and option to extend it to 2 years with registration. So far so good.
