Really Happy with my Hp stream
The media could not be loaded. Delivery was fast and secure. I had to give a code to the delivery gentleman that was sent to me by amazon. The laptop is just right for me. I'm doing courses online so it proved to be a very good purchase for the money. It's nice, light weight. Love the plum colour... my favourite. Works fast, internet works fine. No issues really. I just did my exams on it online with the surpass viewer.... worked great. It came with the windows 365 free for a year. So I can do all the work n presentations on it. I think that if your a student or just in need of a laptop but are on a budget, this laptop should not disappoint you. I am very happy with it. Thank you

Looks nice but Absolutely useless !
I don't do many reviews but felt this needed one.Simply DO NOT BUY.How HP have the nerve to sell this is disgraceful. It looks nice and feels well built.I had my concerns with the spec, but other reviews seemed OK, so I bought it not expecting anything amazing as it was so cheap, but figured it would do for a student. It takes nearly a minute just to go from login screen to desktop view, and a similar time to open any of the app/programs. I didn't install any extra as it came with MS Office. So under powered that it struggles and some times fails to open the default Web browser (Edge). I tried to install a different one but Edge fights you the whole way and then informs you that as the laptop is in "S" mode you have to switch to full fat Windows mode to run the other browser, so gave up as it struggles in the light S mode.Have now sent it back and forked out double for a higher spec manchine.

Love it! Beautiful lsptop, very easy to set up all by myself!
Beautiful laptop, lovely colour, lightweight, nice fluid keyboard to type very fast on. Was very easy to set up all by myself using the on screen instructions, so very impressed. I'm really pleased with this purchase, I prefer HP to all other laptops. Always good value for money too.

Great value laptop
First impressions review after a few days’ use. This is a good basic laptop which is just fine for internet and office apps (which are preinstalled). It’s reasonably thin and light and the battery seems to last a decent time. The screen is rather basic, but it’s adequate for the likely use cases.I’ll update after a few weeks or months with some more long term experiences.

Style over substance
I’m not the most tech savvy I’m not going to lie. I needed a no frills laptop for typing out word docs and internet, emails nothing fancy. This laptop seemed like the perfect fit. Compact, lightweight, Sleek, stylish, enough memory for it to do what I needed. It was easy to set up even for a technophobe like myself. All I can say is I wish I paid more attention to the reviews that didn’t give top marks. I understand why. This laptop is useless! It is unbelievable slow. I’ve had my tech savvy husband looking at it. I can’t get on the internet quickly, you would think I was back in the 90s with dial up internet. I have top speed internet too but this piece of crap just repels it. All it does is buffers. Don’t waste you money. It’s style over substance (just like my wardrobe) buy yourself something better and reliable.

Yet again, looks great, but I’ve got to set it all up.

Dreadful Performance for a branded unit
Intially the device setup was Ok and the first couple of Windows updates installed fine. However the next day when we actually tried to use it the performance was dreadful, I runs 100% CPU and uses 96% of ram for at least 20mins after bootup and drops to 86% and 82% respectively which renders the laptop all but useless. Took so long to open edge that I gave up and used my phone. The laptop was supposed to replace my daughters 3yr old Asus of the same spec, but the Asus is at least twice as fast. Returned as it was either faulty or more likely just not upto the task of running Win11. Expected much much better from HP. Avoid.
