Cable Has Lasted for 5 Years
Purchased this in 2020 it has lasted for 5 years. The color has not faded. The quality of this cable is made excellent. Very easy to use and is flexible. I am still using this cable and did purchase more from this seller.

Thank you————————-Original Post:I received this cord inn February 25, 2017. I use it next to my bed to charge my iPhone at night. I do not travel with it or take it work, etc... I am very careful with my iPhone cords because in the past I had had cords that become loose at the site when the cord attaches to the plastic end.I notice two days ago, April 28, 2017, that my phone stopped charging. Not sure what the problem was, I noticed tonight the prong that actually inserts into your phone has become loose.I am very disappointed in the lack of dependable quality. I paid a higher price for what I thought would be a more durable item. Instead, it lasted just two short months. I would not recommend this product.

Beautiful and Functional
After having my phone's battery completely whacked out by a cheap third-party (a known problem and hence why cheaper isn't always better), I went online looking for a more affordable option than Apple's expensive lightning cords.I was a bit torn in trying to decide between a 10 ft and a normal 6 ft cord as I'm horrible visualizing distance and 10 ft just seemed like a lot of cordage. However, when it arrived in the mail and I actually started to use the cord...10 feet was amazing! It's the perfect distance from my wall out to my bed; I can now lay in bed and surf the net, watch youtube, and stream netflix without having to awkwardly position myself half off the mattress and my hand hanging off the edge just to get some slack in my charging cord. It's also the perfect length to plug into the wall outlet in the living room and lay down on the couch...even my roommate complimented the length when I left it plugged in over the weekend and she found her battery low while binge watching.The rose gold color is gorgeous. A very soft and luxe color with no scratches on the metal or frays on the cord. The cord is thick and hefty, kinks don't leave a permanent bend and its heavy enough to usually stretch out flat and not curl up on itself like the smaller Apple ones do.Definitely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend!

Terrible Warranty, Iffy Product
I purchased this cord for my Mom's iPad Air 2 as a Christmas stocking stuffer, back in December 2015. I did a little bit of research on cables, and this was Apple-certified, but what I really needed was a cord long enough to reach the outlet on our kitchen island without tugging, as the original cable did. Until now, as of August 18th, 2016, the cable worked fine. Last night, it started to not connect to the device. I originally thought it was the charging block, so I changed that out, only to discover it was the cable when it was moved. The piece that plugged directly into my iPad had loosened, so it was no longer making a solid connection.This cable had a one year manufacturer's warranty, but was fulfilled by Amazon. I just got off the phone with Amazon and I'm not happy with the outcome. The person I spoke to, "Jake," which I really doubt was his real name, tried his best to assist me, but there was a language barrier complicating the mess. I really wanted a new cable to replace the defective one, but the best I could get was an Amazon gift card for the price I paid, $13.99. I live in Massachusetts, so I was taxed on the cable, but the "system" (his words) did not allow him to add the tax I paid onto my refund. So, on top of all of that, Amazon is holding almost a dollar of my refund hostage. He was also unable to refund my credit card, because my card number had changed. Considering I haven't been buying much from Amazon since their free shipping price hike, I have zero idea what I'm supposed to do with a gift card. My last order was back in March.I also called LAX, the company who manufactured this cable, directly, but was greeted by answering machine. I really figured if I had a problem, Amazon would stand behind it as it was fufilled by them. I took a chance. Oh, how wrong I was. This is the first time I've been truly disappointed by Amazon's Customer Service. I won't be buying a replacement through them, I learned my lesson. $13.99 plus tax may not be a lot, but considering the founder of Amazon.com is one of the world's richest people, I don't think I need to line his pockets any more. Isn't there a law against that?

Bad cables - separation of cable lightning connector housing on 2 out of 2 cables
Worked great for a few months, then the braided sheathing pulled away from the Lightning connector and the wiring soon thereafter. Now it doesn't work at all. There are others that posted reviews of this product with the exact same result. I have TWO of these, one pink gold and one gold... Both failed in the same way... Save your money and buy another cable, this one doesn't last. It is too bad too as initially I liked this cable a lot.UPDATE: I received my warranty replacements free of charge and LAX was kind enough to send me some additional cables to match due to the time it took to process my RMA. The other cable I purchased from them is still in good shape and the customer service did a good job taking care of me so I've updated my review to reflect that. Hoping the new cables are free of issues. I'm happy with the resolution and have changed my rating to 4 stars.
