Mattel - Barbie Glitz Doll, Off Shoulder Gown

This inexpensive play line doll is definitely an upgrade from dolls of years past. Her arms swivel, unlike previous dolls whose arms only went up and down. I MIGHT be wrong about this, but it looks like she does not have the dreaded pixillation that recent play line dolls, like the Fashionistas, have had lately. She has the Violet face mold, which to me resembles a young Maureen McCormick. So much character in this face! If you're a collector who likes to play or buying this for a child, it's a great buy! Note: If you have children younger than age 3 in the family, be aware that her shoes are removable and could be a choking hazard.

Well, I don’t think this is the original intention for this Barbie doll however, it was a hit on the cake! The girls loved it! My daughter actually made this for her college roommate.

My granddaughter loved it!! Bought it for her birthday so she can add it to her collection. She loves it!!

I used this for a 21st birthday cake and it was the best. Great price!

Right out of the package Her hair is a complete disappointment and disaster. It is so uneven and very thin. You can see her scarcely painted scalp, It looks like a 3 year old got a hold of the sizzors and gave it a haircut. I love this dolls face but it is so badly made. There is also black marks on the dolls body which are even darker in person compared to the ohoto. This is not at all what I was expecting. Very disappointed in this purchase.

I love that she is a brunette, and her dimples are adorable, but she had small black dots on her face right out of the package :( I will be returning.

Did the wig maker go on a holiday and forget to add hair to her head? You lift up the top half of her hair and the whole back is empty except the bottom row. Never seen anything like this!! How do you explain that to a child?!
