Clean fresh scent first 2 days you smell this and after that you can't smell that. I use clumping litter that helps with cat pee smell. My cat has strong ammonia pee but the clumping litter mask it and I use this just for a nice smell. If you use clay litter this would probably help mask litter smell. I personally just like the smell.

This is the best cat litter deodoriser available (imo). There is no objective way to measure how effective it is, but combined with suitable cat litter, it seems to reduce litter smells.
