Perfect ladder
Works really well and is easy to set up and put away. Great solution if you don't have space to store a full ladder!

Great space saver
I am in my 80's and not only does this ladder store to a very small size but also is very easy to extend to the height you require. It is well made, strong and very safe. Excellent invention.

An excellent ladder
Very sturdy ladder. I love the soft-close feature.Minor gripes: Rungs are too narrow to climb without shoes on. Not an issue for most use cases but a bit annoying when used to climb into a loft or generally inside the house. Also, it is not possible to partially extend the ladder starting from the top rung. One has to start from the bottom rung which is a bit awkward and not as intuitive. Otherwise a great ladder.

Poor Design and Quality Control
The third and fourth sections on my ladder are very stiff and difficult to extend. The third section in particular appears to be catching on something inside as there is a scraping noise. This is poor quality manufacturing and quality control. The next problem is the fact that you have to extend it from the bottom upwards. You can’t start opening it at the top. The problem here is that either you have to be tall enough to fully extend it or you have to lay it flat on the floor, extend it and then put it upright. This may be OK when outside but not when you are at the top of a landing trying to extend it sufficiently to get into the loft hatch. It’s only saving grace is the soft close feature. You can get better products than this for about one third of the price on the TV shopping channels.

Great ladder - light and easy to use
I've used a number of telescopic ladders over the years and they all have drawbacks. The biggest one being the easy of opening and closing. Some of them are a real pain. This one however is extremely easy to use and is damped - so it closes in a smooth way. It also very obvious is when the runs are locked in and releasing them to close is easy too. Can't fault it!

van roof access
Purchased for access to van roof rack. it is the right size, nice and stable and collapses to a good size for storage in the back of the van. We like the 'soft close' aspects, and the yellow rubber protective parts.Worth checking that the red flags on the rungs go green when extended. This indicates that the ladder sections are 'locked' in the extended state. Check this within your Amazon returns period.

Very hard to open and click into place.
Very difficult to open up. Some of the runs are so stiff you can't lock the treads in place. I have asked friends to try and they too have found it difficult. I have tried using the silicone spray which hasn't helped much. I kept trying and should have returned it! It's now found its way to the back of the cupboard and probably too late to return it now.
