Did the job and works well

This is a high quality lid and fits snug with just a simple twist once it's in place. I have a 7"sprinkler valve cover and just couldn't find a 7" any where locally not even Home Depot. (the one they sell reads 7" but actual measurement is 6")Very fairly priced I think. Great experience with this seller and happy with the fit and quality of the lid.

I bought this online because Lowe's and Home Depot only carry 6" cover lids and I have an off-brand 7" sprinkler "box". I was skeptical that this was going to work for the 7" opening, but it fits and seems to be fairly secure. (We will know better how secure it is after the lawn guys go over it a few times . . .) So - for now - five star rating. -/ update after mowing - the lid stayed on the box - it is not locked in super tight, but it held the first time, which is certainly a good sign.

I have a 6" round box in my lawn that houses irrigation wires. This lid is designed well and initially seemed like a moderately snug fit. However, the first time my lawn was cut the lid was sucked up into the mower and destroyed. Considering that, I would not buy this again. I also can't imagine this would be a good fit for a larger box, even though it's advertised as a fit for 7" boxes.

If you have the contractor grade valve boxes that are labeled 6” but are actually 6.5-7” then this will work for you. I was in the same boat as many others. Lowe’s and Home Depot do not sell the correct size. This does the job and is same quality plastic as original.
