This strong tape dispenser is great for 3 inch wide tape. I love how I only need to run the tape through the box once since it's so wide. Sturdy dispenser and does it's job well. Never have the issue where the tape gets caught and tapes items pretty smoothly. The dispenser also comes with a tape and that tape quality is nice and sticks well.

Better than staples

After reading a number of "not-so-satisfied" reviews about the Tape King tape gun, I was a little hesitant to purchase it. However, as I am always in need of a great tape gun, I just "took-the-plunge," said "what the heck," and purchased it.I'm glad that I trusted my instincts; my instincts did not prove me wrong. This tape gun is an absolutely outstanding product. In the past I've owned countless tape guns, and none of them served my needs, nor my expectations.The Tape King tape gun FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. I'm very mechanically inclined, so setting up and using a new tape gun was the least of my worries; but there were no worries with the Tape King tape gun. There is absolutely NO setup required. This tape gun was ridiculously easy to put into service.Just devote about five minutes of your precious time to reading the well-documented, easy-to-follow instructions, and then "get to taping." My Tape King tape gun went from the box to completion of a number of taping projects in ten minutes.I am very impressed with the quality, the performance, the durability, and the simply brilliant design of this tape gun. And, as an added bonus, Tape King packages two (2) tape guns and an extra roll of tape in a sturdy box.Now that I've put the Tape King tape gun through its paces, and it has proven itself admirably, I can toss all the other tape guns I've accumulated, and that are just collecting dust in my garage.To the reader: I rarely give a product "Five Stars," but the Tape King tape gun definitely earned its well-deserved "Five Stars."

I was using three passes with standard tape to make sure I got a good seal on a box, but now, I only have one pass, and it's wide enough to ensure a good seal. Saves money and time.

And this dispenser did not disappoint. It is massive for home use buti got 6 rolls of 3” tape that i do not want to use scissors for or cutter.Handles pretty easily, rolls smoothly and does not tangle the tape

I bought this brand because I had borowed another brand of tape dispenser that was wonderful to use. I was very disappointed with the Tape King. There are no guides or anything to hold the tape onto the roller and it keeps slipping off. As a result, I have ended up spending a lot of time, cutting off twisted, wasted tape, much of the tape on the boxes is twisted making it less secure and looking ratty, and have required to buiy a lot of extra tape because because using the Tape King has not allowed me to work efficiently. It has been very messy. If there had been guides to hold the tape onto the roller, the dispenser would have probably have worked well; but, not having something like that has caused a major flaw with the product. The cutter blade often strips the tape, keeping part of the tape caught up in the blade. If I had more time, prior to needing the boxes I am taping together, I would have returned this tape dispenser. It is a pain to use; but, it might be a little faster than cutting the tape off with scissors. I definitely waste more tape this way. The handle is not as comfortable as the padded handle of the other brand that I borrowed; but, it does fit comfortably in my hand. If only the roller had guides to keep it from constantly slipping off the roller. There is no wiggle room on the roller. It is almost as narrow as the tape and when the tape moves, it moves off the roller and tangles into a mess.
