First and foremost the Sheath DOES NOT COME CRAKED! It has inserts to grip the blade, put it wrong and press it and you will break it!Dont just damaged the product and bash the manufacturer! Just put it gently, it cones with red and white stickers that point what sides matches the other!Its insanely sharp, it is fair to say that comes from 420 INOX 3/16in sheet, for all none material engineers, it will hardly rust and it will last sharp!Only complain is, looked smaller in the pictures, looked pocket size, it ain't is like 10in balde!

This MADSABRE Japanese Tanto Knife is an absolute work of art. The Damascus steel pattern is stunning, the blade is razor-sharp, and it feels solid and well-balanced in the hand. Definitely a worthy piece for collectors or anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship.The only issue? The sheath doesn’t quite fit perfectly—the knife doesn’t fully slide in as expected. It still protects the blade well, but I wish it had a snugger fit.Other than that, this is a fantastic tanto knife—sharp, durable, and stylish. Just be prepared to find an alternate way to store it securely if the sheath doesn’t work as intended. Would still highly recommend!

It's a nice knife with a beautiful sheath and handle and a clear san mia build visible at the spine. But it's not Damascus, it's the same as the D2 version but with a Damascus decal that doesn't even reach the Sharpened edge. On one side the decal doesn't go close to the edge and you can feel the smoothness of the decal area and grainy feel of the real steel, and I got the same Damascus pattern as the picture, circle's on top waves on the bottom. I own a real hand forged wakizashi, real Damascus is random patterns and look like Damascus until the razor edge. With that being said it seems like a well built knife, but over priced and not what was advertised.

I own many $400 incredibly sharp kitchen knifes, this is by far the nicest and sharpest for the price, not to mention its Aesthetically appealing. Plan on buying more..

Well after supper slow shipping and shipping delays I received my knife today let me tell u all first hand don't belive the reviews about cracked sheaths being user error like I did. I put the knife in the sheath first time made sure arrows were lined up it went in 90% of the way and then cracked in two places i plan on sanding the opening to try to make it bigger so it doesn't continue to crack and gorrillia glue it back together

this is a great looking knife in a handsome wood sheath. A nice wall hanger, but will cut.
