Unfortunately, no good for me.I was really looking forward to using this gel as it promised I would see overnight improvements.After cleansing my face I read the instructions fully, and applied the gel as directed. However, as soon as I applied the gel, I felt my face becoming taunt, and rather a warm sensation on my face. After 5 minutes my face was very red and felt like it was burning. I removed the gel immediately and put my normal night cream on, which was refreshing.Needless to say I have not put this on my face since.

I've been looking for an anti-ageing cream that doesn't aggravate my oily-combination skin for a while now, and also not dry my skin out either. This is a great mix of ingredients - for the price, you'd hope so - and so far it's been working well with my skin type.Pros:• Smooth, velvety texture means it glides over the skin and you don't need too much• Seems to plump out skin effectively• Easy to apply out of pot• Ingredients counteract the stress of the retinolCons:• Very expensive• Smells quite chemicallyI use retinol fairly sparingly as usually it's too harsh on my skin and causes breakouts, but the accompanying ingredients in this cream seem to armour my skin during use. It also has marine collagen in, something I use regularly for anti-ageing. I'm pleased to report this hasn't made me break out in spots at all like normal retinol products do, so instantly that's a plus.I've been using this every other night for almost a month now and I do think my skin looks tighter, although I can feel that this has dried my skin out slightly, so I make sure to moisturise well between use but you can feel the drying effect straight after use even with the hyaluronic acid. It's not bad enough to cause flaking, but it's enough to make me look after my skin properly after using this.I can't say I like the smell of the product. It's quite chemically and isn't a pleasant smell, but once on your face it's not a strong scent that sticks around. It also absorbs very quickly so doesn't leave any residue behind.It's quite hard to tell whether this has been a miracle-worker, and I know a lot of face-creams are in this price range that actually work. I would say my skin looks noticeably healthier, but whether I look younger it's hard to tell. I'll probably keep using it for a few more months and see then - and I think it will last, as I've not got through much of the product so far.So overall, it's a good product, but it hasn't made me think I'd commit to buying it when it runs out. It hasn't caused major skin issues though like similar products I've used, and has great ingredients, but it has dried my skin out slightly, so it's a mixed bag from me.

I am 53 years old (I had to think there) and my skin gets a lot of exposure to the elements, I have a border collie, so I am out in all weathers including strong winds. My skin I would say is a mix of normal skin, a little dry in the corners of my nose and a little greasy on my chin. I hate to say I started getting fine lines, I look in the mirror and feel pretty disheartened at them so anything that helps is most welcome. It hasn’t helped that I have lost almost 6 stones in the past 12 months, I am happy I am losing the weight but it does show more wrinkles up.This arrives comes nicely presented in dark packaging with gold writing. It is hygienically sealed. It is really good to see a gel as opposed to a cream, I find that so much easier to apply, it absorbs very easily and there is no greasy residue at all (another reason why I prefer gels)The ingredients are fantastic.Retinol boosts collagen so helps your skin’s natural elasticity, it also works on a molecular level to normalize cell turnover resulting in smoother texture, brighter complexion, smaller pores, diminishing hyperpigmentation and less dark sunspots and age spots.Hydraulic acid, the molecules can hold over 1,000 times its weight in water really helping to hydrate the skin making it look fuller and healthier, it improves firmness and reduces wrinkles.Marine Collagen contains 8 essential amino acids, they have great moisture binding properties that helps to hydrate, smooth and make skin appear more supple. As a result, it targets the appearance of fine lines.So far I have been using this every night for a week, I am pleasantly surprised as I see a difference all ready. My skin looks healthier, it feels better and best of all the fine lines over my mouth and near my eyes look much less noticeable. I look forward to keeping up use and seeing improvement.You only need a little to do your whole face. I would like to keep using it after I finish the jar, but sadly it’s a little too dear for me, but it is very good.

I was a little underwhelmed when I opened this. It doesn't look to be a premium product based on the packaging. When I opened it, I felt it should be in a pipette rather than a jar. The product is very thin and liquid like rather than a gel or cream. Make sure you're holding your jar flat when you open it as it will tip out! On application its very wet but absorbs quickly. It makes skin feel quite tight but extremely soft. I was dubious about seeing results after one use but fine lines were much less noticable and deeper wrinkles on my forehead were significantly reduced. I'm hoping to continue to see improvement but I would say skin looked better right from the first use. While I'm not keen on the packaging, I can't argue with the results! My skin can be quite sensitive but I've suffered with no irritation at all.
