Seems very fresh and has a pungent smell from the bag. That being said it tastes very mild, and while I haven't used it as a food dye I can see it being good for that since the color is strong. The pictures show after 1 minute of hot steeping and then a few minutes of hot steeping of about a dozen flowers in 200ml of water or so.The color changing factor (going from blue to purple when lemon is added) works well and is fun for kids. Not very resealable... it came with a clip but that didn't work at all so I ended up using my own. Overall great value and I would buy again.

Lavender blossoms are incredible in shortbread cookies. These arrived quickly after ordering and once I opened the package I knew they were good. Lovely to look at, scent straight from heaven and another good thing was the package includes a clip to properly secure the opened package so there's no worry about spillage.

I read that rose petal tea was healthy and tasty, so I wanted to try it. I also wanted to make some baked goods with edible flower petals. These rosebuds are mostly intact, which is a "plus" for me. The quantity is more than I thought it would be. Rose-petal tea is interesting, but I probably will use these for decoration more than for drinking.

I liked the tea as I made it with lemon and honey. We will see how it does for weight loss and keeping bowels cleared.It also would work well to use as a dye or in baked or cooked goods to give a beautiful hue and color.It doesn’t seem to have a lot of taste to it, I will try it bulk itaelf next time and see.👍👍👍👍👍

A little goes a long way. I bought some from another place and you had to use a lot to get any flavor.

Delicious and fresh, mostly whole buds

I purchased this to make a cake for a shops 2 year anniversary party, they chose the flavors lemon and lavender which I thought was unique and something I had never done before. The lavender had great flavor and I was able to not only mix it into the cake itself but I used it to make a lavender flavored buttercream as well and it turned out really well and this is coming from someone who doesn't care for lavender much. The bag is a good size so you do get a good value too... I have alot left over that I now have to find a use for 😂
