I saw this hat in Yellowstone at the Old Faithful general store and thought I would get it closer to the end of my trip. I then never saw it again in any of the stores. Thank goodness Amazon has it.This is a quality wool blend material with a tightly sticked embroidered Smokey so it feels great on your head but might be a bit warm for summer wear. The brim is slightly softer than most hats and the brow and crown are pretty floppy. The adjustment in the back hold well and can be adjusted any amount, not just to specific amounts like snap backs.Overall it's a great hat that is very comfortable. My only wish is that it was available in a flex fit style. If you like the look, then you don't need to think twice.

Bought as a gift. I noticed the hat is made of thick fabric and has a real metal buckle to adjust the size—not Velcro. Embroidery was well done. I was impressed and so was the recipient!

Consistent with other 'American Needle' caps I have, the fit was spot-on for an unstructured cap with a traditional curved brim. Excelent embroidered likeness of Smokey the Bear. Cheers!

This is a well made hat that fits properly. Visor doesn't come down too far and the hat stays on. Gave it to my husband for Christmas and he's been wearing it a lot and has been surprised by the many compliments he's received. Everybody loves Smokey Bear.

Good, thick material, Smokey's picture is expertly embroidered. I wxpect to wear this guy for a long time.
