I bought this monitor stand last march and overall have been happy with it, my monitor is only 9kg 32inch and it had no problem supporting it but from day 1 it would not hold the monitor perfectly straight.... the monitor was always tilted forward by a few degrees however tightly I secured it. It looks nice and although not the easiest to adjust height wise once you have it in the right position it was decent. After just 13 months though it will no longer pivot left and right which was one of the main reasons for buying it. I just don't think the bracket holding the VESA mount to the stand is sturdy enough which is a shame because the stand itself is good quality.

Fitted this Single Monitor Stand Freestanding table stand for my 34" wide flat screen LG monitor with VESA 100mm x 100mm fittings. Happy so far, components seem to be well built enough - all metal except the weighty glass stand. Lots of different VESA screws provided and also an Alan key with screw end, but I used my own screw driver as I didn't want to risk shearing the cheap screw heads. The height is adjusted manually - you have to unhook the monitor off the back pole and rehook and then rescrew in the holding screw, recommend having a second person help raise or lower the monitor. As previous reviewers say it does stand very high, better for taller people. It seems sturdy and balanced. The glass stand does take up 24cm (9.5inches) x 36cm (14inches) of my desk. I didn't want a clamp system as my desk is a dining table and not a proper single piece desk. The tilt back and forward and side to side is holding fine so far.
