amazing and perfect
this laptop is amazing, ive had it for almost 2 years now, and ive ran into 0 problems with it. it runs amazing for most games (obviously its not going to run everything great) it charges fast, it has a great amount of storage, and overall its great for the price, i recommend this laptop highly for anyone looking for a great laptop. as a gaming laptop, work laptop, its great for both. touchpad is a little weird, but thats its only flaw, and i dont even use the touchpad.

amazing laptop for its price (low budget gaming laptop too)
This laptop is a huge upgrade compare to my old laptop, which is the hp ProBook 450, the ProBook 450 i been having is getting old and i am in the process of upgrading it. The fact that it has a AMD Ryzen 5000 Series and a Nvidia graphics card (trust me, it works really well, runs league of legend and a few of my indie games, will test other 3d games in the future to help compare it even further). laptop battery life is something i am not sure of yet, because its winter, I'm not going anywhere, and its WIFI is great but as any other Wi-Fi built in, get a dedicated usb WI-FI adapter, period.

Powerful Lightweight Computer
I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for this feedback. I bought this computer for my son, a high school senior, to use for school work and as a member of his school's debate team. He has had this computer for 3 weeks and loves it. It's small size and light weight make it ideal for him to carry in his backpack and use at debate tournaments. Also, the AMD Ryzen processor and 8 GB RAM are more than enough for his needs. The WiFi works great and the battery life worked well at his first tournament this year. No problems.

There's no incorporated numpad - GENERAL REVIEW
The laptop works great. Its really quiet when is not being pushed super hard and everything else works as intented. In my opinion it looks amazing and the ports work fine. The touchpad is wonderful (if I had to give it a rank, I'd say is second only to the touchpads found on the latest MacBooks). Camera quality is super meh, it gets the job done, don't expect anything more (not a deal breaker for me since I don't use it that much and lets be honest, the specs that you're getting for 500$ is just REALLY F----G GOOD in my opinion. So, trading camera quality for performance is something that I can live with). So far, battery life is great (IMO). I changed the power setting to get the most performance out of it and it's still fine for my standards (If I'm using Chrome INTENSIVELY, Word and some other apps, it last for 2-4 hours, maybe even a little bit more. But if you turn off your keyboard backlighting, lower the brightness between 50%-90%, and just use it for light stuff, it should last you a long time :D). Sound is good.I've had this laptop for a few weeks now, and the only 3 complaints that I have so far are the screen brightness, no dedicated media keys and THE FACT THAT THERE'S NO NUMPAD INCORPORATED INSIDE THE TOUCHPAD. Look, I would've loved the screen brightness to be a little bit higher (Is not bad, but I just like a little bit more), I can also live without the media keys, BUT WHERE'S THE NUMPAD?????I bought this computer because I thought I was a great value for the money, it looked amazing and the specs where really good for how tiny it is, but also for the COOL LOOKING HIDDEN NUMPAD, which is NOT incorporated. You can even go and check other reviews here and you'll see that each and every one of the laptops are missing the numpad incorporation. In conclusion, I really like this product. I'm a med school student and sometimes I need to have multiple windows opened as well as some Chrome tabs, so I just connect it to a monitor and that way I can have 2 screens at the same time. Even though it only has 8 GB of ram, it managed to run perfectly while I had 3 different Chrome windows opened with 5-10 tabs each + Spotify + Notion and some other thing. Its super portable, boots up really fast (between 13-20 seconds), face recognition works fine. Yes, its aluminum (cold to the touch but it get hot when being charged). So far no problems with the hinge, you can open it with one hand. Edges are not sharp and its confortable to type on it. Backlighting is fine (LEDs look blue-ish on the photo for some reason, but they are white irl) and the rubber feet keep it in place. If something happens, I'll post an update!

So good, I’ve bought 3 so far
The first one I received was a dud but was easily replaced. The second one I installed my resource-hungry cad/cam software and opened some complex 3-D models, and it had little or no delay compared to my $4000 desktop which is specified for the same purpose. These AMD Ryzen‘s are really swift, the only negative is the backlit keyboard is a bit naff in the daytime, you need to turn it off because you can’t see the keys very well - at night time though it’s good.

Games do not work with MX450
Laptop is great for everything except casual gaming due to MX450. Even games with min requirements based on 10 year old hardware won't run. You have to go into the device manager and manually disable the MX450 to get laptop to play casual games. Do not spend money on this thinking the included MX450 will give you more performance in games. Debatable if it gives any performance boost for basic image processing or streaming. Will probably be returning and getting something else.

Speedy. Sturdy.
Compact. Bright screen. Lightweight. Snappy. Does everything it's supposed to do quickly. Touchpad is sensitive enough, smooth, and large enough to not have to reset your fingers a lot. Windows 11 ready, so you can upgrade the OS out of the box.Ding on battery life as you will NOT get the promised-on-the-label 12 hours out of it. You will top out at 6 or 7. I purchased this laptop, in part, because I can charge via USB-C with a laptop power bank instead of having to carry a mega-battery as backup, so I still get through a busy day with little hassle.Still...7 hours is not 12 hours.
