Really nice!
Our cat loves being outdoors at night but we don’t have a cat flap. We bought this little house for him to have some shelter in bad weather. I have only just made it up and he jumped straight in! He loves it. He’s on the large side for a cat and he fits in comfortably! We put an Ancol self heating pad in the bottom to make it nice and cosy. This was really quick and easy to put together. Can’t vouch yet for how waterproof it is but it feels nice and sturdy.Only small niggle is that the little square on the front above the porch has visible staples and isn’t the light grey tidier looking square that others seem to have but obviously just an aesthetic thing. Definitely recommend this!

Lovely outside room
I purchased this for my cat to have some shelter in the cold weather, she is yet to use it when outside.Hoping she will at some point as it’s for her comfort, it is very well made, easy to assemble and fit for purpose.

Really cute and decently made for price
Got this for a stray cat who’s lived in our garden for nearly two years now in order to replace the small shanty town we had build her!PROS:- very easy to put together and roof is nice and heavy and durable. Would definitely hold up well in stormy weather and roof is waterproof.- colour options are nice- the fact it’s on little stilts is an added bonus to create additional warmth/ less damp from ground and add the kitty preference to be a little higher up (literally only an inch and a half maybe but still nice)- fits together pretty decently. I saw other reviews that some of the pre-existing screw holes are in the wrong places. This is only the case for the screw holes to attach the little mini roof over the door. If you screw where the holes are already made, there will be a gap above the little roof. Simply create you own holes higher up and problem solved- base/ floor piece also fits better than I thought it would from some other review and the slats aren’t actually spaced.- size is great for cats and our girl in question is a chunky lady- value for money definitely. Nice alternative to very expensive cat housesCONS:- the wood is quite soft which makes it easy to assemble without a drill but does mean you have to be extra careful of wood splitting-because wood is slightly on the soft/ light side, it can take a couple of redos to get it to stand stable and straight- the posable length that is seen holding the roof up, is kind of helpful if you get the weighting of the roof just right but theres nothing to catch it to hold the roof open. I just don’t use it at all but yeah it’s kinda pointless. You could screw on a little piece of wood not included to act as a catch though.Would recommend for strays for sure

Great product
Very easy to assemble. Sturdy. Bought for a feral cat who visits daily. Ours did not smell at all (as in other comments). Time will tell if it stands up to weather but all looks good.

Bought 2 of these, the last one was a bit different and a little smaller but still great
Bought this for a cat that kept visiting us, including waiting in the rain for some love and attention. For the price, they are great. Ended up with a second visitor and the need for another house. It was different to the first. Not massively but looks like they have made some improvements, and it's a bit smaller. Not sure if the size varies a small amount on each house, but either way we are still really happy with them for the price.

Cat house
This is a really good item.Perfect for cats.Easy to build even if you are not good building stuff.Looks nice.Sadly my cat has never used it. He insists on using a cushion cat bed that is ontop of this. He hasn't set foot inside this house which is a shame as it would keep him warmer.Perfect if you have a stray cat, outdoor cat, or a cat that stays out at night. There is a little gap between the house and the canopy over the door. So if this was outside you would need to put some sealant in that gap or something.

Purrfect!
I bought this for my neighbours cat as she likes to sit in my front garden in all weather. I have tried to get her to come indoors but she doesn't like my two little dogs, even though they show no interest in her. Therefore I bought this little house and a self heating mat. It was very easy to put together. You just need a Phillips screw driver. The wood is soft and easy to turn the screws into.I put a trail of Dreamies leading to it and inside and also a bit of cooked chicken. She went into it cautiously, ate the treats and settled in. Looks really cute, very pleased, would recommend.

Easy to assemble but smells awful
I bought this for a stray cat hanging around my front garden that needed shelter from rain. It's easy enough to assemble - 30 mins one person & a star screwdriver to help hold the screws as you screw in the bolts. The packets wit screws etc & instructions were well marked & extra screws provided. But the biggest drawback is the overwhelming chemical smell that hits you as soon as you open the box.I had to assemble this outside because the smell was awful. I washed the parts with garden hose twice before assembling (once didn't make a difference) and so had to wait for the parts to dry. So this added 2 hours to the 30 mins assemble time. After that, the smell was still there - less strong but noticeable nonetheless. I left it to air for a day so the smell would go before putting it out for the stray. It's OK for the emergency purpose I needed to provide shelter for stray until it is tamed for a chip check but I wouldn't advise it be used as a permanent outside home for a pet because of risk of chemical on animal long term.So far it's waterproof but it has only been a week. It has only room for an adult cat sleeping. I use a seperate clear plastic 'Wham' storage box on its side to shelter the stray cats food.
