EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB FTW+ GAMING ACX 3.0, 6GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Card 06G-P4-6368-KR

This is the probably 6th for 7th EVGA card I have purchased because I believe they sell the best. I have had few problems with any of them. And if you do EVGA has as good or better product support than any of the other video card vendors.Now onto the card. I could tell my EVGA GTX 780ti was starting to get tired, but that was to be expected after 4+ years of solid usage gaming etc. So I did did my research and bang for the buck this card was the best deal. It was a nice upgrade besides being faster, running a lot cooler, quieter (the fans don't even come on until the card is gaming or something like that) and it was smaller by at least 25%. Awesome! Went in like a charm. Sure I could have spent $100 or more and bought the 1070 or 1080, but really? This thing is plenty fast and I know because I play all my games on at least higher of above. Games like Dying Light, BF1, Insurgency, Metro 2013 etc. Basic system specs: i7 4790k, 16gb ram, 128SSD drive and this card 1060 6GB FTW+.In the end, give it a try if price is an issue, but you still want a solid gaming video card. Runs all my games at 1080p without issue and manages my triple display setup flawlessly.I bought it before the cryptocoin craze for $340, so at any price over that I couldn't recommend, but at or below that price it's a decent buy.I haven't tried any VR games yet.

This is imo the best GPU right now for the price. 1060 6GB FTW to be exact. Anything more than this is hundreds more and not worth it yet. 4K isn't a game changer to the consumer market yet so 1080 will do most gamers just fine. Most people's eyes aren't even good enough to see the difference anyways! But I digress.This thing rips. I play most all current games like DOOM, GTA V, and Hitman at the highest settings. Buy the 6GB FTW edition and you'll have a GPU that will most likely serve you well the next several years. Also for those new to building, Be sure to install the latest Nvidia drivers and GeForce software. Release the hounds!After a reboot surround is not workingLately when I boot up my computer the resolution is reset to 1920x1200 instead of 5760x1200. To fix this I have to NVIDIA Control Panel and reconfigure the surround configuration even though Span displays with Surround; is enabled.After being a Faithful ATI customer(not AMD) for MANY MANY years, I finally decided to switch to Nvidia!Guess what... I found this issue listed multiple times on their support site. While AMD in my opinion is a cheapo brand... At least the catalyst control center and other features always worked flawlessly.I'm over one week into ownership of this new card (1080ti) and I'm regretting every minute of it.Then to check support and find that this is an ongoing issue from 2013!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?!This thing is a POS if you use multiple monitors. NEVER buy from NVidia again.How can they sell a product that has had defective software since 2013?!?!?! and STILL NOT ADDRESS IT?????Absolute waste of money.

EDIT: So, for 4 years now I've had this card. Almost 5. It's still working just as great! HOWEVER I originally bought this card for $298.49. They're inflating this so high right now. Card is NOT worth the nearly 600 dollars for it. Mid teir card at best. You can get a mid tier 30 series for just about this much.I can run GTAV in ULTRA with 60FPS-90FPS, I can run Overwatch Utlra at 60FPS, Rocket League at 200FPS, Minecraft at 1000FPS. I am a streamer, so this card is absolutely amazing! EVGA has the best products! Didn't have installation issues, didn't have any issues booting up, no issues at all! My next goal is the 1080 Founders edition, but this card will do! :D

amazing performance, get 60+fps in most modern and triple a games. Rust runs max settings with 80-100 fps, csgo runs around 150 fps, League of legends runs 150-200, and rise of the tomb raider with full max settings runs about 55-65 fps. Great card and works perfectly for my usage.

it literally fried 10 mins into putting it in my gaming tower. So now i'm back to my good old GTX 660 which still works after 2 years plus. DO NOT BUY THIS BULL S***

Fans do not kick on until the GPU temperature hits 60 degrees celcius. So a majority of the time the fans are not on. The card stays so cool that when playing non demanding games such as Warframe the fans NEVER kick on. Dont get me wrong on some more demanding games the fan will kick on but I have yet to see the fan speed above 15%I am playing all games at 1080 with everything on max and this video card. The witcher 3, dark souls 3, doom, etc.. all run amazinglyCon: Price due to all the bit coin miners
