Bright
This is an awesome third brake light. Very easy to install and man it's bight. Let me say this for other companies that want up to $200 for a third brake light this sure is a great deal., and much better looking when lit than the other companies. When you unlock the truck the white LED's are very bright. Don't expect this to really light up the bed like some LED strips or bed lights would. I don't care about that at night It's the convenience lighting I like about it. Hard to see in the pictures because they are so bright but the brake light is rectangular in shape, and is hollow in the center where the white LED's are. They are so bright that it appears to be one solid light in the pictures. They can also be set up to strobe 5 times each time you apply the brakes and that function can be turned off, I have mine set to strobe to get the drivers behind you attention.I think this light is different than most of the other boring designs, which I like and looks awesome. You might just as well replace the bulbs to LED's all the other assemblies look the sameAlthough this has a rubber/foam seal on the back the one thing I am going to keep an eye on it. The seal doesn't appear to be around the edges of the brake light assembly it's more or less around the center of the assembly . I will find out during the next rain or when it gets sunny enough to pour water on the cab and see if it leaks or not. If it dose I will update this review and let potential customers know. I have Auto and Marine rubber sealant that if it dose leak I will just put some around the backing and edges of the light and reinstall it.Reference the cargo light. Some reviewers on here complain that the light points upward, and it dose but to make it sound like it's useless is stupid. I think these people want a million candle watt spot light shining into their truck bed which is redonkulous. At night and for this price it works very well for what a third brake light was designed forI hope this opinion of mine helps everyone with their decision

Good light
I bought it two years ago and it’s still working fine. I like the option to have the light strobe or work normal. Will start to leak water into cab after awhile as the gasket/seal starts to deteriorate.

My opinion of this led 3rd brakelight
These are just a couple of pics of the Led 3rd Brake light from NSLUMO/Amazon. The brightness’s are somewhat comparable with the new complete brake light verses the stock. The first pics are of the factory lens, with exception I replaced the halogen bulbs with led bulbs. I also replaced the brake light bulb with a led flashing lightbulb. The last two pics are with the this new complete led version brakelight. As others have said, the cargo light isn’t the best if your wanting to have the bed of your truck to completely lite up. I show a pic of the light and where it hits on my trucks bed, which is about 3/4 up the tailgate verses the 2nd of the 4 pics show the factory’s light displacement. They both show the night sky with the cargo bulbs however the new led lights seem to shine upwards quite a bit more. Since I’ve got the factory bed lights that came installed from ram it’s harder to see the big difference. So that’s a toss up for me. The actual brake lights themselves and differences from factory to this led version is somewhat more comparable. I did have a led flashing light bulb verses the stock halogen bulb so perhaps that’s why I think there pretty much the same. I wasn’t able to show the video of how quick and easy it is to swap the old version verses this version. It will literally take more time to get the screwdriver then to replace the light. It is a complete plug n play and I’ve not yet received any error codes. The new led brakelight came to me with the switch set to have the brake light hyper flash so no guessing on my part for that. Also as others have said about the gasket, I’m going to add a light amount of silicone around the gasket area just in case to prevent water leaking into the cab. My suggestion is to get a thicker or better gasket as the one it comes with is pretty thin and minimal at best. I was told that sometimes we can over tighten the screws and cause the gasket to fail so I only tightened the screws just enough it get any resistance.Hopefully I didn’t confuse everyone with my wording etc. and didn’t lose you on my review. English isn’t my best friend. For those whom prefer American only type of products as I am, it should come as no surprise where this light comes from. Unfortunately we can’t make everything here in the US.So to explain my star reviews, I gave it a 5 star for ease of installation. Finally something even a non-mechanic like myself can install in under 5 minutes. Gave 4 stars for brightness because of the cargo light and where it shines, or where it doesn’t shine. If they, (manufacture) were watching these reviews it be beneficial to adjust the cargo light where the full beam of light shines in the bed of the truck. This alone would have earned an extra star from me. I’m not saying that the International Space Station doesn’t deserve to know where I am by shining such a light up at them but hey I’d like it to shine a bit more down here on earth. My opinion. I also gave it a 4 star for value because of the gasket and again the cargo light. Both of these star reviews could be higher rated if they made such changes.Good luck and enjoy if you find yourself buying this NSLUMO Led Brakelight. It’s time for me to go out and give mine a shakeup to see how well it shines in the dark verses daylight.Update: after driving my truck a few times I did receive the brakelight out message in dash. Then I ran the truck a few more times and nothing came up. Not quite sure why this is happening but I thought I’d throw this information in my review.UPDATE: it’s disappointing that this brake light does cause my truck to display in the dash, Brakelight out. Any suggestions on how to make this light work and not cause the message? I’m bummed.

The light is perfect, truck cab is a bad design.
I installed this on a 2012 RAM 1500 . I didn't worry about it leaking because I installed the light then masked it and sealed it with black rtv sealant . It looks great and will never leak. Since it is a L.E.D. it should last forever.
