Our grand kids love these models. They are smaller and much easier for them to handle

Fairly detailed, fun for dinosaur lovers!
My 4-year-old nephew loves this toy - he's very much into everything dinosaur, and loves to put it together and take it apart again with his dad. I realize it's not necessarily made for younger kids (an 8-yr-old would probably take better care of it), but maybe a sturdier version for younger dinosaur enthusiasts? Either way, my little guy loves it!

it is a good learning tool
Model was difficult to put together, and did not want to stay together. Still, it is a good learning tool.

Bad quality and not a good toy for a kid ...
Pieces don't fit together well especially the clear plastic portion that covers one side of the Dino. Bad quality and not a good toy for a kid who's not extremely protective and cautious with toys. One fall and this toy is broken for good. Not recommended.

I ended up just putting it together as best as I could
I went to a hobby shop and found what I thought was a little gem. It did not want to stay together. The ribs, the feet, the plastic outside didn't even close all the way. I ended up just putting it together as best as I could, rib still loose, and glued the outside. Not worth the price in my experience. Has to be something better out there.

Cheap
There are two problems with this set. The instructions are horrible and the pieces don't fit together. We ended up gluing some of the parts together, but it still looks wobbly like it will fall apart at any moment. My 9 year old absolutely could not do this on his own. I ended up doing most of it. Not fun at all!!
