Top notch advice from someone who’s been there
I moderate a course in Leadership in Life and I am always looking for more resources for potential leaders in our national organization. Mr.Moore makes his opinions clear and concisely expressed his very practical and applicable ideas. I will add this to our reading list immediately! Quick to read and punchy in style, no BS- this book is well worth your time.

One Leadership Framework to Rule Them All!
I've probably read 100-200 leadership books over my career as a manager, and if I could give just one book to another leader, it would be this one. A perfect complement to Martin Moore's podcast (of the same name), this book pulls the content together into a framework anyone can digest and start implementing immediately. For new managers, it's a total no-brainer -- even picking up just 10% of what this book has to offer will set a new manager apart from the pack and let them turbo-charge their career. If nothing else, it gives them a lens that helps them see their new career as a "long game" they need to systematically get better at, not an extension of their previous working life with some extra coaching skills bolted on.For experienced managers, this book gives them the tools to go deeper across their skillset. Many get to high Director or VP posts on the back of one or two competencies (often "vision", "strategy", or "leadership presence"), but their meteoric rise leads to plateauing b/c they're missing critical skills in handling conflict, driving accountability, or navigating change. This book will help those experienced managers get to the next level.Pro tip: Because you'll find yourself coming back over and over to certain chapters (for example, "Getting Comfortable with Conflict") over and over during certain seasons (read: performance reviews), I recommend getting the audio book. Each chapter's ~30-60 minutes, perfect for your commute or a morning coffee run.

If you’re a leader or want to be, this is the book you need
I’ve read many leadership books over the years and I would rate this as one of the best. If you’re like me and appreciate straightforward, no BS fluffy filler, you will love this book.I appreciated the candor, the real life experiences, and the practical tools to help you succeed as a leader. Being a leader is hard, the concepts in this book can help you be the type of leader you want to be.I am an HR leader and I would (and have) recommend this book to seasoned leaders, new leaders or those who want to be in a leadership position.

A nice supplement to other leadership books
Here are some of the things I liked about the book:The author uses a no-nonsense approach. The candor and directness are quite refreshing. The content itself is results-driven; the book is all about getting things done and the author doesn't get bogged down in theoretical fluff. There's lots of practical tips and strategies that you can put into practice immediately. Here are a few things to keep in mind:The writing style can be a bit abrasive at times. If you're sensitive to profanity, this book might not be for you. The book is not a comprehensive guide to leadership. It focuses on a few key principles, but it doesn't cover everything you need to know which is so I say it's a great supplement to other leadership books.

A must have book for high performing leaders
When you build a house you start with the foundation. This is what No Bullsh!t Leadership is and it will captivate you with clear concepts, suggestive examples and practical advice. It has been THE leadership manual for me that gave me the confidence of doing the right thing. The amount of information I got and the toolkit provided in the scales at the end of each chapter makes this a reference book, probably the only one I plan to revisit often to hold myself accountable for implementing the concepts.Tip: The podcast and the audio book are my commute companions already !
