These are everything wonderful that Docs are! I have some Dr. Marten boots and decided to try the shoes and am just as impressed with the quality as I am with my boots. These are a perfect fit. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in shoes, in Docs I wear an 8 since they run bigger and these did not disappoint!I wanted to try the service shoe because I do tend to be a clutz so I know that the anti-slip soles will help keep me planted. The fit is perfect, the Air-Soft soles are nice, comfy and as classic as the Air-Wair (that's how they spell it, not me lol !) The insole is soft and yes, the shoes are heavy, but isn't that what you want in something that will last a lifetime?!Take care of your Docs and they will take care of you! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

These beauties are a great everyday shoe and comfortable for being on your feet all day. They’re also go well with any outfit for going out in the evenings. Took about 3 days to fully break them in and mold to the wife’s feet. She says the toes are a little roomier than she’s used to and intentionally ordered a size down for that reason. The heel to toe length is still long enough, just a lot of toe wiggling space.

I gave 5 stars because These are super cool looking on, like all Dr Martens. They are definitely the industrial version made with extra non slip soles. They came with nice insoles too. The part that I think Dr Martens could improve is the arch support. None of my pairs have great arch support, so I had to add that with a new insole. If I had my choice I would probably not purchase this same pair due to the fact that they are heavier than normal..

I’m an active 72 year older who is rocking “Mah Doc Martens!” Bulky, but so cute and very comfortable. As soon as the shoe was delivered to my door, I put them on. I have neuropathy and which becomes more of a challenge during the colder months. I put on thick socks and have worn the shoes now for 6 straight hours and I did a lot of walking! I bounced as I walked, the shoe is lighter in weight than the picture shows and I felt confident and steady, when it comes to slipping, tripping and falling. I also ordered a half size smaller. The shoes are pricey, but the quality of the shoes makes it worth the money, especially if you can find them on sale. I want another pair! LOL

All the reviews say they run big but I didn't find this to be the case. I'm a pretty true size 9 and these fit well with a regular (thin-ish) sock. My toes touched the end in a size 8 so I had to return them. I've only worn them for a half day so far and no rubbing - pretty comfortable overall but heavy and no cushion. May need different insoles. Look fantastic and super non-slip.
