Amazing product
First, I make a lot of sausage. I rinsed & soaked them overnight and I recommend the same. There was ZERO smell, almost no breakage & I can’t even explain how wonderful having them pre-tubed was. I will only be buying these in the future

Great casings. Very long continuous length
We made several types of sausage (Italian, chorizo and brats). These are exceptional casings. Highly recommended. Great taste and light snap just like the butcher shop.Easy to use. And most important a very long continuous length of casing that is easily enough for 15-17lbs of sausage meat. You get three tubes in a package which will do 45-50lbs as advertised.These casings worked perfect and the preloaded straw makes them very easy to place on the stuffing horn. No holes. No knots. If you need less just cut at the length you need when done stuffing. Put the remainder back on the straw. Salt and store in the refrigerator.One caveat. You need at least a 5.5” stuffing horn for the full length casing to fit on the stuffer - so be aware of that.These casings are a few dollars more than non pre-loaded casings but in our opinion, were worth the money as you save so much time loading the casings and don’t end up ripping a casing loading it on the stuffer.We also bought some overseas casings and did not like them at all. They were very short (3’) and you had to spend a lot of time cleaning them and they were hard to load.Our recommendation are clearly these as the best.

Great casings!
No blow outs on these and they make great sausage. Only docking a star either the way they’re packaged you really have to commit to using them all since you can’t separate before rehydrating and they’re all on the same hook. If you’re doing small batches I’d maybe consider a brand packaged loose / differently but honestly these are quality at the price so really not a loss if you end up tossing a few.

Nice casings for brats
Very happy with these! They came on a ring so linear rather than bunched up - net result that they are easier to pull out one at a time. Second, they are nice long casings so I could make 7-10 brats per casing. Importantly, smelled fresh. Soaked and rinsed as directed with another round of baking soda to make them slick for loading on the tube. No breaks when loaded and nice snap when grilled. Will see how they store in the fridge, on salt in a snap top so that's TBD.

Perfect for Large Batches and the Price Was Great
These natural hog casings were exactly what I needed for making a lot of sausage at home. They were well packed, easy to rinse, and didn’t have any strong odor. I used them for a big batch of homemade sausages and they held up great without breaking. The length was more than enough for what I needed and there was even some left over. The price was great for the amount you get and the quality was consistent throughout. Will definitely order again for future meat projects

Come cut in 2 or 3 ft sections not continuous.
Ok, overall quality is good packed 20lbs of bratwurst. Down side is that they are not continuous casing, There are cut in 2 or 3 ft sections. You will have to continue to put new casing on stuffing horn. Soaked for approximately 4 hours, then 45 minutes in warm water. I ended up placing several casings on stuffer horn. Seemed to work better that way. Would highly suggest to do the same it prestretches casing and ultimately made it an easier process. Casing is thin but works well if you gently handle it. Had 4 burst in stuffing process out of 20 lbs not bad. Smoked up sausages and vacuum sealed them to freeze. Overall good product but misleading as they do not state it's cut in 2 or 3 ft lengths. Make sure to do ice bath after you smoke them as it makes the casing snap as you bite in.
