So fun! There is a small learning curve but the included instructions explain it pretty well.

I've done tinsel a few times in my hair. This brand was kinda thin but I use about 6 or more pieces for each extension and it looks great.

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to braid it into my hair for some fun vacation hair I loved it. I treated it just like regular braiding hair and had no problems.

Comes with more strands then you will ever need and the tying instructions were perfect.

Honestly I was super impressed with the quality of these considering the price. I originally bought them to use for making feather earrings and adding in a little bit of glam but decided to add some to my hair before cutting off my hair. I had them in for over a month, the same ones, and when I went to cut my hair the beautician helped me take them out and we had a hard time getting them out because they were still so tight. I used the crimping beads and they held so well. I even went over them with a straightener right before getting my haircut off just to see what they would do and surprisingly enough they didn't melt. They held up Rather well. Great product for the price. Very pretty and sparkly and there are so many. I cut the ones I used in half because of the length of my hair so I had double the amount.

The tinsel strands are really long so we were able to cut them in half since my daughter has chin length hair. They're a tiny bit thicker than salon hair tinsel we have seen. Like others have said, putting them in is a big pain and they slip off easily. What we did was use gorilla punk hair gel (yellow bottle), a tiny bit at roots of about 3 hairs, then tie the tinsel twice, then another tiny bit of gorilla gel at the knot. This seemed to keep most of them in for the full day.

I've had mine in for almost a month and they still look great! My 3 year old thinks we're the coolest.
