Great way to get iPhone pics on PC
I’m not a cloud storage person, so I have to physically download all of my pics to my pc hard drive. To use this with no hiccups, you must have a fully charged iPhone. Change your settings of Autolock to NEVER so your phone screen will not timeout. If it times out, this process won’t work. When you plug in an SD card to this little device and plug it in your iPhone, you must then click on your photos app and select (I had success with about 250 photos at a time) select your photos. Once selected, click the bottom left hand “share” button. Scroll down the options to “Save as file” and select the external SD card file. This may take some minutes. There is no eject button. Wait until this process is over and unplug. Then photos should be on your SD card.

Works for only 15 months. Waste of money
I have had this since November 2023. It has not even been a full 2 years yet, it has already stopped working. I tried plugging it into my phone, my friend's phone, and my ipad. It has not been successful in reading any of my sd cards. Save your money. Buy it elsewhere

Very Basic Card Reader
Bought for use with iPhone 15 Pro Max to read trail cam photos. Works with standard SD cards as well as micro SD cards. Data is transferred to the Files app on iPhone. When the files app is opened the SD card appears as either “ No Name” or “Untitled.” Picture quality is excellent and the USB C connector fits very securely in the iPhone’s charging port. Deducted one star because the reader does not offer the option to format the SD card. You can, however, “select all” when pictures are displayed all together and delete. This leaves the SD card empty as can be used successfully in the same camera again. Not sure if the card could be used in a different camera without formatting in a computer or the camera it is to be used in. My cheaper game cameras do not offer formatting as an option in the camera itself. The ability to format the SD card with the card reader can be important.

These cables work fine to import photos from an iCard to your iPhone. They come with written instructions.
