PENDLETON Wool Blanket, Elders/Circle of Life, One Size

Simply stated, the quality (of the design and its execution) is flawless. I would be hard-pressed to use this daily, and I could see this best used as a (framed) wall hanging. The design needs to be seen to be appreciated, the colors are bold but not garishly so, and, in a way, I can imagine Frank Lloyd Wright appreciating this one and perhaps using it at Taliesen West. The piece is medium-weight and tightly felted, while the browns and teals are darker than depicted in the accompanying images on Amazon. Shipped directly from the manufacturer in their box.

The thickness was comfortable but was very warm. I would buy another but they are expensive however you get what you pay for with Pendleton. Very proud to own this one!

My dreams got significantly better.

This was a gift for my adult son. I thought it might be useful in his truck, but he immediately put it in his office.The wool is smooth, heavy but not stiff. The colors are vibrant. The binding is done well, all stitches secure. It really is a comfortable piece of art. And, because it's wool, his cat found his way into its folds right away. We're all happy about this purchase.

I feel so lucky to get this. It is. It is very beautiful in texture, color and design. But immediate memories of my childhood lessons from living next to a reservation. The story the design tells is so important. It even appeals to my modern taste in decore. The old and the new are "wrapped" as one. So gratefu and proudl to own this treasure.

This blanket is well made. Easy to care for. Absolutely warm.

This is my second Elders/Circle of Life blanket and it is not as well made as my first one and has some wrinkles that just will not go away. I have tried ironing them out but they come right back. It also seems a bit thin. I use it and I especially like the design, but it is not the same as the one I bought 10 years ago. I realise things change and especially seem to always get less substantial, but it is something to keep in mind...
