Ansmann Dimensions AA Size Comparison
BLUF: I love Ansmann rechargeable Batteries. They are quality and reliable. I’ve been using them for almost 1 year now, and I’ll never use anything else for live entertainment purposes. If you're like me, then you would like to know what the size differences are between the "Slim" version of the Ansmann AA's and this version. As you can see from the pictures provided, the Silver Ansmann AA is the “Regular” version. The Blue Ansmann AA is the “Slim” version. I measured both the silver and blue Ansmann AA’s with a set of digital calipers. The Silver Ansmann AA approximate dimensions Diameter: 0.565” or 14.35mmHeight: 1.9835” or 50.37mmThe Blue (Slim) Ansmann AA approximate dimensionsDiameter: 0.564” or 14.33mmHeight: 1.983” or 50.37mmI would like to point out that the positive terminal of the Blue Ansmann protrudes a bit further out than does the Silver Ansmann. Just for the sake of being complete, here are the approximate dimensions of an Energizer AA battery:Diameter: 0.543” or 13.78mmHeight: 1.979” or 50.26mm

Works well with Sennheiser SKM100/300 series wireless mics!
I did a LOT of research on rechargeable batteries & originally tried the Panasonic Eneloop batteries based on recommendations from other people. However to my surprise they did NOT work with any of my Sennheiser wireless microphones, but worked well with my Sennheiser body packs & also my Galaxy IEM packs. I did further research, came across these batteries & they work great! Did a show last night, had 4 mics on for about 6 hours with no issues & 2 bars at the end of the night. Bought a 2nd set & will buy more so all of my units will be rechargeable.

Great quality and performance
I’ve bought this brand for years and always get great results, even for energy-draining items, like my son’s remote control car which takes 8 batteries.

High drainage rating
Use them in my wireless microhone. With battery prices being what they are these save you money

Looks like AA batteries, Works like AA batteries
The media could not be loaded. A long time ago, I used rechargeable batteries which were quite unsatisfactory, so I went back to regular ones. Now as these kept showing up on my recommended page every time I restock my batteries, I thought what the heck!Well, so far I am glad I did.I mean nothing magical about them for sure, but batteries do what they are supposed to do. It looks like AA batteries, it works like AA batteries, it sounds ike...oops not that. Yes, I am happy with the fact AA batteries are working as AA batteries, as you know more often than not, many of the products we buy don’t even do jobs for which they are intended. In such a regard, these are working just fine. But of course, I will have to see the longevity of these down the road. At this moment, I am hoping these will save quite some money I am throwing at buying batteries. Yes, I know it’s shameful that I still have to buy batteries in this everything-rechargeable day and age.

I got these and another pack of four rechargeables
I play a music keyboard and it can work either corded or on batteries making it portable. I like having a second set of four batteries to power my keyboard while the other set is charging. Keyboards are heavy power users so one session on it will suck a decent amount of the power from the batteries. That's why I like these higher-powered NIMH batteries. The other set I have is Lithium and while they work great, so do these. I haven't seen too much of a difference in the performance or length of use between the two sets of batteries when used in my keyboard. Great set!

Nice High Capacity - High Current Batteries
My measurements point to these batteries meeting the capacity claims on the product page. In addition, they put out a lot of amps at max drain (which will over heat them if done too long), which means they're useful for high-amp usages like for Stun Guns.I had no issues using these, and the starting voltage is in line with what you can expect from NiMH batteries. I don't know what they mean by Hybrid... but these batteries are high quality, and worth the money if you need the most performance out of your AA batteries. If you have a lot of low-draw devices, then these are a bit pricy for general use.

Do not recommend for high end electronics
Tl/dr: AA batteries larger than standard size. May have damaged a $750 Shure mic transmitter. Do not purchase.I manage the wireless mics for a local community theatre. A large cast will go through 32 batteries a performance. To help reduce the costs of batteries and to make the shows more environmentally friendly, I've been researching moving to using rechargeable batteries for mic packs. These batteries will not work. The AA batteries are slightly larger than a standard AA. They will not fit in our Shure mic packs. One of the $750 packs stopped working after testing these batteries. I cannot confirm tbe battery was the cause, but there is speculation.I'm sure these batteries would work for basic appliances around the house. Never use them for high end electronics!
