Rather disappointed, could leach heavy metal Nickel/Chromium,bad quality control, will be thrown out
Product: (07)--Spoons Set of 9# this is a repost - somehow the previous review disappearedI bought these several months ago and it's been working fine. It's not the best quality of stainless steel (for utensils or anything food related); however, it's not the worst either (upon first look) and I don't mind the [lack of quality] quality as long as it's 'safe' (as they ALL should with anything related to food). Fortunately it'd came to my attention a few days ago when I was surfing the net about food safety which prompted me to take a closer look at these stainless steel spoons that I have, and the result was rather discouraging to say the least.I bought these because of the variety in sizes and the fact they are supposed to have 'one-piece' stainless steel construction which I always prefer. My first impression was that they appeared to be lower-quality in terms of the finish than what I saw in the pictures. Several of them seem to have relatively sharp edges (or at least unevenly brushed edges); however, since I'm not going to put them in my mouth, I thought it'd be fine. The handle is just the right size and length for me and they aren't awkward to use either. After taking a closer looking look at the workmanship, specially the edges where they had been 'processed' (cut, polished, or abrasion etc), I was shocked to see just how terrible of a condition they were in. You can see just how badly the edge of the spoon is chipped (picture 1 to 6); it looks like the spoon had been grinding in sand or something in order to suffer that kind of damages on its edge. I'm pretty certain I received them like this and the thought of me using them and touching the food I ate for the last couple of months just made me sick to my stomach. When closely (with a magnifying glass) looking at the chipped and peeled edges (as seen in picture 7 to 9), you can easily and clearly see that layer or layers of so-called stainless steel appear to have peeled off or in the process of being peeled off and separating from the spoon. I WONDER HOW MANY LITTLE PIECES OF METAL I HAVE INGESTED since then. From a different angle/perspective (picture 10 to 13), you can see that the spoon appeared to be wrapped around by another layer of the metal as if it's made from layers of metal compressed together to form the final product we see. The first thing that came to my mind when I first saw it was "whoa, this is some plymetal! (i.e. from plywood)". I'm not sure if this is just a bad batch of metal, issues/errors in the manufacturing process, or fake/sub-standard/really cheap stainless steel etc. In either case, I have NOT seen this before, especially for items that touch what I eat, and this will be thrown out.Stainless steel, no matter the grade, can and will leach Nickel and Chromium over their lifetime; it's only a matter of quantity. While I'm not fanatic about food safety or do I pay extreme attention to things related or surround it, I would however definitely respond (i.e. a reactive role vs proactive) to it if and when I find out about what's wrong with these kind of thing around me or my family. In short, I don't feel safe using these and they will be tossed away; the health of me and my family far outweigh the cost of a few cheap spoons. Your mileage may vary and I'd suggest you check and make sure these spoons are ok for you as well.*** It's much appreciated if you found the review helpful, please click on the Helpful button below ***

Not stainless steel
I was excited to get this set, but a month and a week after I got it I realized that the measuring cups are plated. A piece of the plated metal came off my 1/4 cup. I took two pictures of it. I only washed these by hand. Not happy!

One Ring To Rule Them All...
...And in the darkness (of the kitchen drawer) bind them.Yeah, that ring's not coming off, which makes washing up a little awkward if you only need to wash one but they all have to come along... BUT in my case that's probably their saving grace, seeing as how I've managed to lose every single measuring spoon I've ever had, except the ¼ tsp one from the last set and the blue plastic one that came with the plant food.I can't even blame the cat cuz i don't have one.Idk where they went.Did they use themselves to dig a tunnel (from the top story apartment) and escape? We will never know...But I have these now. Wish me luck 🤞

Wanted it. Bought it. It's what I ordered.
I hate being pressurised into leaving reviews. Having said that, I did buy this measuring spoon set and it is what I ordered. It's got just about every conceivable spoon size. I was doing a lot of simple banking, with individual sized cakes. The scaled down recipe's had very small quantities and a set of smaller spoons will make it easier to keep the proportions right.I may not be likely to use them very often, but when I do I know I have the measuring spoon for the job, lol.I'm quite pleased with the quality too, so overall good value.

returned - two 1/3 measures and no 1/4
Second go at having this review published, lets see if this makes it past the censors.Annoyingly had to send back due to wrong contents. Also from an environmental perspective it may look great being non-plastic and coming in a non-colour cardboard box, however, they then wrap it in a plastic bag and strap it with one of those ghastly non-reusable plastic fasteners. Overall very disappointing on something that should be so simple. How is that? Pass? I am commenting purely on the product (just like my other review).
