LEGO Elves Queen Dragon's Rescue 41179 Creative Play Toy for 9- to 12-Year-Olds

This is truly an a amazing toy! It is super sturdy and has many unique features. It is easie to set up and has almost no problems. I would say the only problem with the queen dragon is that it is also super easie to lose the pieces. It really is extravagant. It Is my child's favorite toy. It is as gorgeous as it is sturdy. My kid absolutely loves it! It is a 100% wonderful!

Our 8 year old absolutely loves this set. The dragon is bigger than we thought and looks so cool. It came with great assembly directions and is very sturdy so it doesn't fall apart when she is playing with it (this dragon has survived through many play sessions). This is her favorite lego set by far and we had so much fun putting it together.

My almost 7 year old built this mostly by herself and it is her favourite lego Elves set yet - she has 4 others. She really loves the dragons and this one is particularly lovely. I enjoy the fantastical element of the Lego Elves world, as being gender-neutral but still appealing. I refused to buy the Lego friends sets and this satisfies her need for things to be pretty without offending my views that women want more than shopping and spa days.

She is so, so fun! She is also so big. She very posable!When you build her, if her head is droopy on step 36, you have to make sure to snap the 2 neck pieces together really tightly. Then her head stays up! I love the lava sliding feature on the castle!The wings fold back like a bird. None of the other dragons have this feature.measurements..... With head and tail stretched out she's 16 inches long.from foot to shoulder she's 4 inches tall.Standing normally with wings folded back she's 4 inches tall at the shoulder and 6 inches tall at her head and 14 inches long.with head up she's 6 1/2 inches tall.Her wings are 7 inches long by 4 inches wide. Her wingspan is 15 inches.

My 8 and 9 year old daughters love the Lego Elves. They have hundreds of lego from all different series and they play with the Elves the most. They are able to build by themselves and have played with their lego elves for hours after they are built. They love the ones with the dragons.

Any Lego set is simply amazing! I usually give my grandchildren an amount they can spend at the Lego Store. After shopping, it is my job to sort all of the pieces while they assemble the toy.. I enjoy that time soooo much. I hope,as I enjoy it as much as they do.This item was much larger than I anticipated. I'm quite happy about that.

My daughter loves the dragon queen and put it together by herself. The instruction book is very clear and simple to understand on how to construct the dragon and the castle. The legos are beautiful with all the crystals and gems it comes with. There are a lot of movable parts too which make it more interesting. (Wings, tail, legs, mouth, feet, castle door, stairs, crystal shooter, and the elf)

My daughter received this LEGO kit for Christmas. It was at the top of her Christmas list for Santa and she was thrilled to get it. She and her brother (10 and 6) now have several Elves kits between them and although expensive, I consider it a good investment because they become so engrossed in building them, plus the pieces are indestructible LOL. The best thing about this kit is the white queen dragon herself. She is much bigger than the other dragons we have and she is very beautiful and majestic. There is one big problem: the neck joint does not support the weight of the head, so the head keeps flopping forward. I just took a look at the most recent reviews for this product and there are at least two other customers with the same problem. I have messaged LEGO for help and I can post an update when I hear back from them.**12/29/2016 UPDATE**Just received the following very, very nice response from LEGO. Very happy with their customer service on this. It took them less than 24 hrs to respond to my initial email and I'm really impressed that they responded with a personalized message.
