one bracket, no wall screws. still great!
I really like that the distance from the wall can be adjusted. this comes with ONE bracket, so if you need two check the offer with two - it might be cheaper. It also doesn't come with wall mounting screws, as explained in the description, so be prepared with your own screws and whatnot. I know some people are complaining about the one bracket, but everything so far has been explained properly in the description so we really have no room to give low marks for not taking the time to read through it all (I actually needed two and bought this one, then ended up ordering another but I admit this was my own fault).

Great for IKEA rods!
I purchased this bracket online because we were 1 bracket short. While we bought our first one at an IKEA store, we didn't realize they only came in packs of 1. So, you need to buy 2 packs per window. IKEA is so far away that is was worth it to pay a little extra to buy this bracket on Amazon, rather than driving 2 hours!

Essential if ceiling mounting required
Pricey but worth it if you have wide floor-to ceiling windows that require a mid-span bracket for the curtain rod.

Not worth the price
I purchased these because It solved a problem I had that the default brackets with most curtains are several inches away from the window. The adjustable rod hooks made this seem like the idea product. I ordered three to cover my needs to hang two sets of curtains. When I opened the first of the three packages, I was disappointed to find that each pack is a single bracket, not a pair. So for roughly $22, I received a total of three brackets instead of the six I needed for two windows. This was rather disappointing, since most brackets are sold in pairs knowing most people need two to hang curtains.I was then further disappointed to find that the package did no include mounting screws of any kinds. "Mounting screws not included" would have been helpful on the product listing.Lastly, the instructions also recommend having a hacksaw. As shown in the picture, there is a slide cover that can be used to hide the wall screws (again, not included) so they are not visible, but if you decide to use the bracket with the short side mounted to the wall, you'll need to use a hacksaw to cut the cover to half length so it will fix. While I can understand it makes more sense to include one cover that can be shortened, it would have been easier if the cover was pre-prepped for this with a snap-off cut in the inside of the cover, so if it did need to be shortened, if wouldn't require an extra tool, but just some elbow grease. As it is now, there is simple a slight marking to show you where to saw.Overall, $8 dollars is way to expensive for a single bracket. if this had been a pair of brackets, it would have been a steal, even without the mounting screwed. As it is, it's not worth more than $5 since, depending on the length of your window, you'll have to buy two or three just tohang one set of curtains.
