One of the units were broken. It does not take AAA batteries. It takes Double D batteries which were terribly expensive to purchase for all of the units. It does not have a way to plug in electronically. I was under the impression that it did both. I’m just disappointed. I put batteries in them, and they still don’t work yet. Perhaps I have something hooked up wrong, but just purchase cautiously.

We tried using 3 of these in our bathrooms and kitchen. I ended up pulling them all out after about 6 months because they are very ineffective at actually dispensing soap. We tried an entire array of different liquid soaps (very thin and viscuous, thick, foam, and a few options in between). Out of the array of different soaps we tried we could get nothing to effectively dispense soap on demand. You would need to run your hand in front of the sensor multiple times, giving off dry heaves as if the pump needed to be primed to pull the soap up. After at least 4 - 5 passes you could eventually get some trickle of soap out. But having to go through that process multiple times a day whenever wanting to use one of these was just frustrating.Thr principle is good but the execution is lacking. The overall result is one of a product that leaves you more frustrated than satisfied.We replaced these with basic hand pump versions again. despite trying to have as much of our home as automated and touchless as possible.An overall disappointing experience.

I went to replace soap and Item crumbled.

The soap tank is broken already. and i have to wait almost 2 months for that item. Not happy at all.
