Bigger & different than I was expecting.

They’re good but beware, these gummed up my Belgian waffle maker.
While these were so good in my waffles, the sugar cubes melted into my waffle maker and hardened so quickly that it took hours to clean it all off. I threw the rest of them away, as it wasn’t worth the mess.

I tried these waffles in a restaurant and they were so different and delicious I had to make them at home. The recipe is right on the package. It is similar to making a bread dough, so you have to be prepared for the time it takes for the dough to rise. I used a portion scoop for measuring the dough. I used a Belgium waffle maker for these. They all turned out perfect. I froze what we didn't eat for another breakfast. They make a great snack too. A unique breakfast option for guests!
