Strong odor of contaminant.
As soon as I opened the package, there was a strong odor of petroleum. Will not risk using.

Wonderful flavor!
I ordered the cinnamon sticks for a healthy drink. I wasn't aware of the difference between Cassia and Ceylon cinnamon. the recipe required Ceylon versus Cassia. What a difference. I really enjoy the mild, and flavorful taste of Ceylon. The cinnamon stick simmers for 20 minutes, then sits in a covered pot 5-8 hours. The stick holds up and doesn't break into pieces, nor gets bitter from "steeping" so long. I haven't yet cooked with it. I am planning to use the whole stick in a batch of rice pudding.
