I have really painful cramps during my menstrual cycle and these did get rid of the pain. However, I will suggest to anyone who has really painful, sharp cramps to follow the "Pro-Active Instructions" on the bottle which suggests taking these about 5 days prior to your menstrual cycle in order to prevent any type of cramping from occurring.Although these worked for me once they kicked in, they took several hours to work (probably due to the intensity of my cramps) but once they kicked in I felt really good. Usually I don't get cramps until on my second day.The first day of my menstrual cycle is just a starter day and I don't get too much pain. However, I did take these on the first day, but still found the second day to include several hours of pain and discomfort in which I felt like I was going to pass out, puke, etc. from all the pain.This is why I recommend trying the "Pro-active Instructions" for anyone who has really bad cramps. That way you can possibly prevent any type of pain from happening.I understand each person is different, so maybe they'll work for someone else right away, but again for me, they took a bit to kick in but once they did, I felt so much better. The cramps were gone.There was one or two times I did notice a subtle cramp (trying to come back). But then I just took the softgel pills again and the barely noticeable pain was gone a few minutes later.FYI, I take 2 softgels every 3 hours as per instructed as a high dosage to get rid of sharp cramps. 1 softgel just wouldn't cut it for me.

I have to say that I think this product has been saving my life. That may sound dramatic but I have suffered from Endometriosis since the age of 15 (I am 30 now) and I Have tried EVERYTHING under the sun for the pain and I am highly sensitive and could not tolerate all the pills I tried. I finally decided to give up on western medicine for the Endometriosis and change my diet and try natural remedies. I have tried so many natural things... many of them work but nothing ever has gotten rid of the severe pain I suffer with once a month.... until this product.This is HUGELY important - you NEED to take this as advised for five days PRIOR to menstruation. This makes the biggest difference. When I first started using this I only took the capsules when I would feel pain and it would help but not a lot and it would take awhile to kick in. When I finally read the back and followed the instructions and started to take two a day before my period and then however many needed during my period, it made the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE. I honestly cannot express how much this helped me. Last month I actually was able to get out of bed and function like a normal human being. I also find this helps with heavy bleeding, nausea and general upset stomach, back pains, etc. I am in love with this product and will literally never be without it. I cannot recommend this enough if you suffer from severe pain. I also have used this for random ovary pain and it helps immensely!

I got these in my attempt to be a little more 'natural' and try to avoid killing my liver with all these motrins. The first day of my period is always the worst, really bad cramps and all over body aches. It's just really uncomfortable and hard for me to do anything physical. I usually have to pop a 600 mg motrin or ibuprofen. So I got these in order to eliminate those and try something a little less damaging. I've tried them on two menstrual cycles so far. The first time I took 1 every 3 hours as it states on the back. Did not work...I added another. The cramps decreased but still some pain. Finally I tried taking 3 and that seemed to do the trick. So while it did work, it took more than 1. It also depends how bad your pain is. The 2nd and 3rd day I only have to take 2.

I bought this because I get horrible cramps and thought this would help. I took it twice a day 5 days before my period started just like the directions said to help prevent the cramps and it didn’t work at all!! Took it while I had cramps and it made my cramps worse rather than helping them! I will never be buying this again. Don’t waste your money on this product

These definitely work! My cramps were not awful.BUT... they do get stuck together and it's hard to take apart. If you do, it might bust open.So I did not get my monies worth. These are expensive. So be aware. 😔😔If you know any products similar and cheaper than this. That works. Please drop it in the review.

I always am trying to look for a more holistic way of living and when it comes to cramps during that time of the month, it can be awful. I used to pop 2 advil, every 4 hours, around the clock during my period. Now, I take 2 of these every 4 hours and the cramps are gone. If need be, I may take 2 Tylenol with it if I’m achy. This is amazing stuff. I tried many, and I mean many natural supplements for pms and menstruation and this is the only pill I will ever need from now on. I used to not be able to sleep the first few nights due to waking up with cramps, now with cramp releaf, I sleep soundly through the night until the next morning. I will never be without this miracle pill. I agree with other reviews that you should do preventive for the first five days before your period, 2 a day for 5 days leading up to it. It helps much more with the cramping for sure.
