Great design for road bike suspension
I started cycling a couple of years ago and pretty hooked. This year I developed a pain on the inside of right elbow?Saw doc, they suggested it’s RSI.Definitely not my job, so, could be the front of the bike hammering my arms?So I decided to try this.I’m not writing this after a long term use and miracle cure. But just to let you know it does work. Not in the drops, geometry is wrong but on the bars and hoods yes.Zwifting now as it horrific out, it works static.Currently have the softest setting, will see how it goes, shouldn’t bottom out.Hope to update this review in a few months, but for now, if you are looking for some relief for aches pains, pins and needles, I’d say this is your best bet, it works well.

Works well to take out high frequency bumps on my gravel bike
I bought a new gravel bike and have been riding across bridlepaths and tracks. The ground is dry and hard at the moment and incredibly bumpy after being chewed up by horses - to the point of being painful on the wrists and shoulders and giving me some blisters on the heels of my hands. Especially rough compared to my MTB which has front suspension.I read mixed reviews on the ShockStop suspension stem, but decided to give it a go. I bought the PRO version which is lighter than the other version. It definitely works to take out a lot of the high frequency bumps and judders, although not as good as full suspension forks. I was worried that it might feel floppy under braking or normal use, however it seems to be fairly stable and hard to spot any movement.Definitely worthwhile and a good investment!

Total game changer for a gravel bike. I'm blown away tbh.
The media could not be loaded. Was toying with the idea for a while after doing Ickneild Way... 125 miles nearly all off road and rutty. This stem would have been amazing for me on this ride but unfortunately I knew I had done a ride from about 110 miles in.Since then I have bought this stem in the pro version and I did 95 miles on Pedars Way from from start to finish, The coast to Thetford and back. This stem was bloody fantastic. It took all the in perfections out of the small ruts and helped with dampening all the harsh ground.Obviously your hands will still move and vibrate but no where near as much as on a regular stem.Total game changer!!Buy buy buy

Suspension stem
For anyone who suffers with pain in the hands this is a must. Takes the harshness out of the bad road surfaces and allows you to relax more on the bike.

What a difference a REDSHIFT ShockStop PRO Suspension Stem makes
After an easy install and elastomer change over, the stem works like a dream. i did instantly notice how it reduces road buzz and my hands and arms were less fatigued on long rides. After a couple of 100+ rides in the Kent lanes i'm 100% satisfied i made the right choice. i can highly recommend this stem. Initially i bought it for off road gravel bike packing adventures. But now i've also tested on the terrible pot holed Kent lanes i'm using it all the time. And therefore i am going to purchase another for my other road bike. They are very expensive and its a hard swallow. But if comfort is important, then it's worth every penny.
