Most Awesome Book Ever
I don't normally write reviews; in fact, this is the first review I'm writing on Amazon. But, Paul Angone deserves a lot of recognition for this wonderful creation! The book is split up into 101 segments detailing the ins, outs and secrets of how to master the first, tentative steps into adulthood. Unlike the majority of self-help books aimed at young people, Paul Angone manages to deliver the most relevant, up-to-date and relatable advice through his stories and accounts, without a hint of self-righteousness or patronising tone. I'm 19 years old, and I know what it feels like to be spoken down to by elders.Paul Angone assumes the role of an older brother or your favourite aunty, educating their juniors about the treacherous journeys that may or may not await them, all supported through his own experiences. After the first few flicks of pages, I think every reader will get a true sense of how candid, likeable and funny the author is! I have never met the author, but I can relate to all of his stories, as if I knew him personally. Each of the 101 Secrets range from a few lines to a few pages; much like opening a Christmas present,or exploring a new subject, one looks forward to what they're going to get. Much of the appeal from this book stems from the fact that every single secret has been meaningfully crafted to deliver the most poignant and life-smart doses of wisdom without waffling. Paul Angone doesn't try to manipulate the reader through any persuasive words or merely superficial, and empty 'life quotes', like that seen of motivational speakers trying their hand at writing. 101 Secrets is not like that. He tells it like it is.I would highly recommend reading this book. If you have read this review and decide not to get this book, you would be missing out on a great deal of wisdom and laughs that is sure to foster enlightenment about the best way to dominate the adult year; and everything that you can achieve through making the right decisions in what is arguably the most constructive decade of our lives.

A very good read
Really enjoyed this book. Paul, the author, is religious so there are a few God references - I'm not religious myself but I didn't find it overwhelming. In fact I quite liked it. Also there is a lot of American references that I was unsure of. However - this didn't put me off. It's crazy how many things I could relate too - I can't imagine how many things a twenty-something religious, American could! I would recommend this book for anybody in their twenties - regardless of religion/nationality.
