Overall effective at taming beard-pain
This does pretty much what it says it does, but I will note that it doesn't eliminate discomfort (at least in my case). It reduces the discomfort in general; It's reduced a massive nuisance down to a minor itch on it's own.Combine this with regular beard washing with a proper shampoo and you should be much better off.

My Beard No Longer Feels Right Without it
I have an very coarse, ethnic beard. Had some bad experiences with other softeners that are more chemical heavy. Decided to go with a lighter, more natural product. Beard is still thick, but with the Cremo softener, it is at least comb-able and can hold a shape without any sort of styler or balm in it now. With daily use, has softened it up some. Even on the days I forget now. Can't wait to try the other scents. The Mint is amazing!

Inconsistent lather
Overall the product is fantastic. Biggest issue i have is the bottles do not have the same consistent formula. One will foam really well the next is like conditioner only…broke one bottle because the product inside was so thick it wouldn’t squeeze
