Brilliant at this price
I've used blink and eufy before moving to a reolink system. I bought a couple of these cameras as less important cameras as part of my system and bought the 12mp ones for the main areas. Honestly now I think these would be more than enough for the key areas. They are crystal clear even over great distance. They haven't had any issues so far, never drop out or anything.Sound is also decent on them. For £45-50 a camera these are an absolute steal.Photo is zoomed in a bit to avoid car reg.

Great picture quality and easy to install
I bought this as a substitute to my Ring Flood light camera which has terrible picture quality compared to this. My Ring camera connects via Wi-Fi so if the signal drops the picture quality and connectivity speed suffers. This Reolink is wired direct with an ethernet cable so has a constant and secure connection.Being 5MP the image quality is great for what I need it for. Number plates are clear, even at a distance of approx. 50m at the other end of my road. Night vision is good as well as it still keeps detail. I use mine with a 256GB SD card which gives me approx 2/3 weeks of recording before having to write over old files so no subscription which is nice.Overall a very good camera, especially for the price you pay. I will more than likely replace my Ring CCTV with reolink cameras

Simple and effective camera.
Purchased this camera to keep an eye on a wind turbine, but would have many uses.Seams well made and simple to install. POE ethernet connection as long as you have a POE+ injector [Power Supply] works well. Built in microphone is very good, good sensitivity, not HiFi but that's not what its for. IR lights can be Automatic or Manual, limited range, but it is a small unit. Image quality is good, I had no issues with either the iPhone app or viewing it from Safari on a Mac. Camera has motion detection etc none of which I have tried, but no reason to suppose they would not work. 3 levels of image compression, and a 'clip' view function meaning you can define the area to watch reducing bandwidth further. iPhone app, connected to the unit without needing port forwarding set on local router, so could watch it out with the local network.Nice little camera for money. Recommended.

Very easy to set up and use
I wasn't sure how well this would work or how easy it would be to set up. So far it works perfectly and as expected. It was easy to set up with the hardest part being all the work getting the ethernet cable where I wanted. The app works great as well. I do not have it set up to record yet but I will be trying a microsd card first. Currently it alerts me about any motion and I can record the stream to my phone's memory if I am veiwing it on the app. I will update this review should anything change for the worse.

Done with Reolink
Well, i am officially done with Reolink. This review is both for the RLC-810A and the RLC-510A.First off, when i got a 4 camera NVR kit back in 2017, ignoring the odd 'moment' the kit has had, it was great until a few months ago when recording started going missing, including changing to a different hard drive (used both WD RED and SG Skyhawk 4TB's).Was also getting problems playing back in that it was either wait until the hour ticked over or reboot just to see any footage, and even then i might loose the last hours footage.Went down the PC recording route with Blue Iris then found out the incompatibility problems with the old 410-4mp cams.Had 1x 410-5mp that i had added in 2018 that i could flash with their beta firmware to get that working but it wasn't perfect. So, got the 810A one to test and nothing but problems with this camera.Camera feed kept on freezing, cutting out on both BI and the latest Reolink software that it could only work on lowering the resolution to get it more stable but it was still unreliable.Same result on a short cable too.Not only tested the cable just in case, i also borrowed a Annke C800 and this was working great on the highest settings so no problems with the cabling. Also be warned that if you need to change the resolution after getting everything installed, it changes the FOV - so the lower you go, the less FOV you get.Never had this before and have to ask, why is this even a thing? So then returned the 810A and got the 510A camera, had the odd freeze but this time though it was the sound. It was like listening to something under water and couldn't make anything out at all, and that was when only when the sound did work as i had to keep on resetting the camera.Again, this is both BI and Reolink software's.All the above was also tested on 2 different PC's.And don't get me started on the software, app and firmware's over the years as there has been getting less and less control to what there used to be.Totally unreliable. Quitting Reolink, had enough.Ended getting the Annke C500 cameras as replacements and having absolutely no problems whatsoever including keeping the same FOV on different resolutions, all been working for a month now with absolutely zero issues and i have plenty of options/settings that can be adjusted and not locked away like Reolink.I also don't have the blurry issues that plague Reolink cameras (Google it).
