They don't feel synthetic AT ALL!!! My mom and sister got some and loved them so I decided to get a pair and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!! They don't leave those little hairs all over your face like those cheap little brushes do!!! If you want to clean them put some hot water in a container big enough to fit all your brushes, add some dish detergent, makeup cleaner, and alcohol. Mix it all together and then add in your brushes. Swish the dirty part of the brushes around in the water and squeeze the water out of the par of the brush that has hair. Then let brushes sit in the mixture for 30mins-2hrs or until you're satisfied with the results. Once you're satisfied squeeze out the water and let them air dry fro the best results!!

I bought these because I misplaced all my makeup brushes when moving and needed a temporary brush kit until I found mine. These are super soft but I feel like that is a disadvantage because I cannot blend any product on my face to save my life. I have never been into synthetic brushes. Just not my thing. They’re hard to work with and I never get the results I want. They get the job done but I’m a perfectionist and I just don’t get the results I want with these brushes opposed to my other brushes. Thank god I found my other brushes. (:

I haven't bought new make up brushes in quite a few years (I kept washing my old ones) and after buying these and using them I am more than a little happy. They are soft, work beautifully , and I have such a large choice (although I only use a few of them right now). The only thing I wish for is the holder had a few more pockets to stash my make- up in when traveling. I highly recommend these brushes though. Glad I came across (with Amazon's help) a winner.

The basic gist of this brush set is that all of the larger/medium sized brushes are soft and good for blending, as well as cream products (probably? I honestly haven't tried but they feel like they would be fine). The bigger brushes don't really pick up powder products that are in pans. The smaller brushes can't blend. They are just for packing on shadow. This is fine for eyeshadow, but know that you aren't going to be able to smoke out/blend smaller areas. Also, the liner brush is terrible and hurts on the eye. Additionally, all the smaller brushes will create a ton of kickup in your eyeshadow pans so make sure you press lightly!It will also smell bad when you first get it. But overall, for the price, I wasn't expecting much more. Good for the price, but not great.

Fantastic good quality kit for dry brushing miniatures. If you are into Warhammer or any mini painting activity great for dry brushing. Great price includes a roomy and compact carrying case with a large variety of brushes. I like the case because I can’t put it away as I don’t dry brush all the time and it has extra room for more brushes like your old dry brushes or custom ones. A lot of variety of brushes for every situation. Only negative is that if you add aggressively it will start to shed a hair or two occasionally.
