Great for morning walks!
Very long and comfy, not super thick but once wrapped up the warmth starts setting in.

After washing in machine, upped to 5 stars!
It has taken me a long time to write this review. While the print I ordered no longer is offered, I thought my review might still be helpful. I just updated this review because after washing this shawl in the machine in a delicates bag and hanging it to dry, I'm even happier with it. Mine washed beautifully. My scarf is absolutely stunning on one side--printed in black and vivid blue on a cream background. The back is unprinted and not very pretty. The pattern from the front partially bleeds onto the second side. For this reason, I fold it over so the back side does not show. The scarf is enormous, so this is not a problem. The texture of the scarf is nice. I find it a little less soft than cotton, cashmere and synthetics, but adequately soft to be comfortable, even around the face and neck.My favorite use for this scarf is as a blanket, scarf, and layering piece when I travel. I like to travel with the bare minimum. If I'm traveling to a place that might be chilly, I toss it right in my carry on. I can use it as a layer as soon as I hit the ground. In addition to serving as a nice big fluffy scarf, it can be worn belted with a long-sleeved tee and jeans, a dress or skirt to create a new outfit when I'm on the road. The large size makes is very versatile, and the thinness of the fabric allows it to provide coziness that's never stifling.

Soft and pretty colors
I bought several of these in different patterns. They are elegant, soft and interesting patterns. The only drawback that i can see is that the pattern is printed on the front side of the fabric, so the reverse side is not as vivid, so the scarf is not “reversible”

Another Beautiful Scarf from Dana Xu!
I love the Dana Xu scarves, especially for everyday wear. Even though my home is in sunny Southern California, winters here can still be chilly, and jackets and light coats are often necessary. After all, this isn't sub-tropical Florida. The Dana Xu scarves are the perfect weight for Southern California winters, and they're also great for chilly autumns and springs in colder climates. They are also good to keep your neck warm in winter over a coat even when the temperature dips below freezing. I have to travel a lot by plane, and as anyone who travels by plane knows, planes can be quite chilly at times. I often use my Dana Xu scarf on chilly plane rides, and I sometimes use it as a wrap at home. I've even put one over my bed when I'm cold, but my partner isn't. As I've said in a previous review, just choose your scarf according to the photo, not the color in the description. A scarf might be labeled "green," for instance, but it might only be green along its border. Most of these scarves are very multi-colored, so just choose the pattern and photo you like best. The scarves are very true to their photos. What you see is what you'll get. These scarves feel silky to me; they aren't at all scratchy like some wool can be. You'll find them comfortable unless you're allergic to wool. If that's the case, I wouldn't recommend them. They aren't for summer wear or for wear indoors unless you're very chilly. I would call them a midweight, and frankly, I love the midweight. These scarves really are as long as advertised. They are perfect for a tall or large woman. I'm very petite, so I like to wrap my scarf around my neck twice and tie it in an elaborate knot. The predominantly light blue one I received today is lovely. My only wish is that the light blue had been a true blue, without any gray, since I'm not a fan of gray at all, but it's still quite pretty, and I still anticipate getting a lot of use from it. And, after looking at the photo again, the blue in the photo does look like it has a touch of gray. As I said, what you see in the photo is what you'll get. These scarves are a real bargain; they look far more expensive than they are. A word of caution: these are wool, albeit a lightweight wool, so put a few cedar chips in the bag with the scarf or hang it in a closet you've moth-proofed. Have fun with them. Give them as gifts. I don't think the recipient will be disappointed.

so very lovely
Extremely high quality. Light and airy as a shawl but a very warm choice as a scarf. Colors are vibrant and colorblocking is clean. Doesn't have much of that modern machine-made print look while also having fine detail. If you, like me, are wondering what a 100% merino texture will be like in this form, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Has extremely fine fishbone texture which will likely add to durability.Nice to see quality craftsmanship from a Chinese brand on this website. Thank you!

Gorgeous color and pattern ~ good quality
Overall, I am very happy with this wrap. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It is on the larger side though. But it can be doubled up before placing around the shoulders...and still provide good coverage. 🦋 🌈
