IBD LED/UV Gels Clear, 8 oz

I use this to strengthen my soak-off gel polishes, and let me tell you, this product makes my manicure last SO LONG.So I’m a sculptor, and I wash my hands over 50 times a day because I’m getting either acrylic paint, clay, glue or some other material on me, so you can imagine the amount of stress I put my nails through… before, when I would use the soak-off gel polishes, the excess use of water in my daily life would make the polish lift in a day or two. Now, my manicure lasts at least 7 days, WHICH IS UNHEARD OF FOR ME! Let’s me explain…I’ve gotten my nails done professionally, but I don’t like the abrasive process of gel polish removal, plus I’m So INDECISIVE with colors and get bored easily and like to switch things up quite often(once or twice a week) so I switched to soak-off gel polishes that I can do at home… I LOVE that I can easily soak and peel them off as soon as I get bored of them, but I don’t like that sometimes they peel within a day when I have a heavier work day with constant hand-washing…Now, what I do is, after I add my layer of soak-off base and gel Color, I top that off with a layer of this product, followed by the top-coat layer of my soak-off no-wipe gel polish. That way it creates a layer of strength so that the soak-off polish won’t peel as easily, but it is far enough from the nail-bed itself where it has not created a permanent bond if I decide to change it up after a few days.The only down side, and this is more of a personal preference, is that you HAVE TO WIPE with alcohol if you are using as a top coat… I prefer a no-wipe top-coat so I top off this product with a layer of no-wipe and it works just fine for me!Hope this helps! :)

You will pay over 20$ for an oz or less of this product, so buying in bulk will save you 50%!Also this product is amazing and the best gel I've ever used! Never have lifting with it, it self levels pretty fast and if you want it to not be as self leveling then you can add a little acrylic Powder, clear or colored, to thicken it up and you can make colored gel that way and that's also how polygel is made. If you want jelly nails then add a few drops of Gel polish to this gel, if you want opaque color you can add white polygel or white acrylic and then drops of gel polish, soft pastels grated into powder, mica powder or even chalk! You can get little containers and make yourself your own homemade entire set of colored hard gels! You can add glitter to your creations too! So much you can do with this!

You can even put some into an empty nail polish container and add gel thinner until you get a topcoat consistency. Value for this product is not the best. However I’ve been using their product since 1994.

I’ve used IBD gel before and it is SO strong. I haven’t had any nail break and was able to grow out my natural nail. The bottle isn’t filled all the way to the brim (which is fine) and you get basically a lifetime supply of gel! Everything is sealed and the squeeze bottle is nice because I can control how much gel I’ll be using! Great buy if you want strong nails

Wish it came in other colors but, clear works great
