I bought this for a fun, if not EXTREMELY loose interpretation of Feng Shui - the snake is for the center so it sits in a cobra basket in the middle of the front of my desk. It faces the front door, and really is fun!! It was easy to coil it to fit in the basket and it stays perfectly in place. The hood just kind of warps as you bend it so you may have to take a minute or two to get it in just the right pose.

The color looks different in the photos, and it is very small for the price

So it's a great product but there was a strange film or finish on it. Wire inside made it bendable.

Bought two of these, one for my father and one for my older brother who both really love to play pranks and use startle gags. In the particular batches of gifts these were handed out in, they quickly slithered their way to being either the favorite gift received or pretty dang close. Although the dimensions are slightly off in regards of having an ultra-realistic nature scene prop, they more than suffice in appearance to make it the most effective fake snake that your trickster friend or relative ever owned. Recommended that you only gift this if you know that the intended recipient has the discretion to avoid causing a heart attack with this.
