2nd degree tear, saved my life, ordered more of the pads afterwards!!

Easy to use, you just ‘snap’ the pads (though didn’t get a definite snap as expected or suggested as required on packaging) then they go cold. On 2nd baby so knew to expect some swelling but they actually turned out to be most useful this time for soothing labour grazes. Peri bottle very useful for this reason too. There is a flaw with the peri bottle in that once the spout goes back down (retracts into the bottle) it’s not watertight. So even if you empty it, if you wanted to take it out with you anywhere drips do still escape the bottle annoyingly so just bear that in mind for taking home from hospital- take a plastic bag to wrap it in else your stuff in the bag with it will end up wet.Remember to use warm water and it’s certainly worth the money. Takes away the worry for the first post labour wee!!

Yet to use so basing this off receiving them. Came earlier than expected, was cheaper to buy as a bundle than to buy them separately. One of the pads came in completely different packaging to the rest but seem to look the same..? Peri bottle is in good condition and seems to be very easy to use, all in all great price for the bottle and pads!

The cold packs are really refreshing And helped massively to relieve discomfort. They are bulky but not too bad if you are just sitting on the sofa or lying down. They do take some force to break the gel to get them cold though.

Good but bulky. Cold pack effect doesn't last long and end up feeling weighty. Nice and soft and absorbant though for postpartum.
