The book Title misleading
The book title mislead you to think that author will share 101 Projects about the Porsche 911, Where it's actually 1 project. He is considering lefting the car 1 project, removing tires is another project, and so on. I paid for this book almost 79$ including shipping to get this joke.

Easy to follow, good detail
Easy to follow book which should accompany a proper manual to cross reference with. If you look at it as pre-emptive jobs you will need to do at some point you can actually keep on top of a lot of general maintenance before you are forced to. Good detail, list of required tools and level of knowledge/difficulty as you go.

A must for any 911 air cooled owner!!!
I am restoring a 1975 Porsche 911 S 2.7. This will help with some of the projects. Just recondition the Warm up Regulator. This book lets you know from washing your 911 to rebuilding the engine.

An Invaluable Resource
This is both a terrific and indispensable guide for the dedicated amateur who is rebuilding his Porsche 911 engine. It's extremely well-written, well-organized and superbly illustrated and, while it may not contain every last bit of information about 911 engines and their rebuilding and upgrading, it is certainly sufficiently comprehensive to enable an enthusiast with aptitude and some experience working on cars to successfully accomplish the rather intimidating task of rebuilding a 911 engine. I've had Bruce Anderson's "Porsche 911 Performance Handbook" for many years and have found it to be an incredibly informative and useful resource that I wouldn't want to be without. Wayne's book both compliments and supplements Bruce's book while intensifying the focus on the rebuilding process. It's amazing that one can get so much valuable information for so little, when considered in the context of the cost of a Porsche engine rebuild/upgrade. If you're serious about rebuilding your 911 engine and getting it right, or even if you're going to have a pro do it and you just want to better understand what's involved, you would be crazy not to get this book.
