It’s a chain
Exactly what I expected. A chain. Sits on the bottom of the lake and never complains. One time it did try to take my wife to the bottom of the lake by grabbing her ankle. She realized what was going on and was able to release the chain. We scolded the chain.

great deal
good deal, it's heavy stainless steel sexiness, what else can I say, shackles are heavy duty too, so hot. very nice great price. probably overkill for an 18' flats boat, but i go out of inlet into deeper water with some current, so this works very well, I would even say for a small CC boat like 21 and under maybe.
